R.I.P Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the II. 70 Years Regin on The Throne of The UK and The Commonwealth 1952-2022. Elizabeth 1926-2022. Final resting place at Windsor Castle, down in the Valut of St George's Chapel.
I was evacuated to Thaxted from East London at the start of WW2. I was 9 years old at the time. I am now 92 & will never ever forget my time there. First of sight of fields & farms. From that time on I have loved the country side.
Oh what memories - I grew up in Thaxted up to age 10, and now I'm 63.. But I still remember those streets, shame the video di not show down Water Lane where I lived.
Thinking of buying here, what a great video. It's a shame many London Boroughs have been and are becoming more and more developed. The suburbs are slowly becoming like cities....a prediction made many years ago when the railway lines were being laid. How right they were, but this reminds me of my London borough 15+ years ago when it was a nice place to live.
