Some tradespeople and handypeople ( putting people and not men as not to offend them identifying as tradestoasters lmao 😂😂) don't understand why it's important to be clean and tidy whilst working, again top tips 🙃
Most advice I've seen suggests tucking the felt under the eaves. That doesn't seem to be possible as the corner prevents the felt from folding under the eaves timber.
@@HandymanStratforduponAvon Well... I surprised myself by being able to do a "blanket fold" at the corner, which enabled me to leave it long at the gable side but tuck it under at the eaves. Still not sure how I managed it but it looks very tidy. Time will tell.
Hey, did you hear that Woody Hyezmar is giving his collection of projects at no cost at all? Go'ogle his latest material, there's a similar project, pretty close to this one, if I'm not mistaken.
Hi Nick, Thank you so much! 👍 I have been trying to work out how to remove one of our curtain rails but, until now, have drawn a blank. Yours looks identical to mine. I had already worked out how to remove the end caps but had assumed that the centre piece would slide out, so when it didn't I was back to the drawing board 🤦♂
Good to finally see a review of this pole. I bought one in 2018 for a job I was on and then went out and bought another with a full roller kit. Absolutely brilliant piece of kit - great for applying floor paint without developing back pain. The job I'm on now requires a longer pole, and I just wondered if the longer version was as good as its little brother. All you get on RU-vid is Purdy this and Purdy that. I'm not a professional decorator, so don't want to spend a fortune on something I'll only rarely use, but by the same token, I don't want to buy something cheap that will fall apart on the first outing. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with these tools.
Many thanks for the video you have done. I had no instructions at all. But there was a QR code I scanned with my phone, and I got nothing, so i You Tubed it and you came up, brilliant thank you again.
I'm just about to re-felt 2 sheds for the first time. From what I understand it's not advisable to leave the old felt in place as it could compromise the new felt? Also, the old felt may have soaked up water and to leave it on would trap damp? I appreciate your video as your advice is very useful, but may I suggest using a tripod? 😉 Kind regards.
As long a s the weather is dry and you have checked there are no previous clouts sticking up you should be fine. I f the felt is not in good condition, remove everything.
OMG, your video came along right when I need it! I subscribed and went right to the link to order some of this. I haven't tried it yet but looked at videos of it working and listened to the reviews and comments and seen some pictures. I have a spot in a bathroom that would be a nightmare to work on and am going to try this first! Love to you and I hope you have many years ahead of you filled with love, happiness and wealth!
I usually manage pretty well assembling e.g. IKEA type furniture, but the diagram instructions enclosed with this shelving were poor and confusing. Thank you for a really helpful video showing and describing the steps so clearly! Shelves well on the way to completion now.
Thank you for posting this assembly video. Your instructions (walkthrough) were easy to follow. I appreciate the breakdown of each piece, by piece. I'm grateful I came across your video (I was completely lost by 'so called' manual). So, again, a huge thank you😊
Hi Nick, this looks like mine. I am trying to work out how to undo the screw that locks the first book to stop curtain coming off the end of the rail. Please can you share any tips, It's a straight screw but how do I undo it when it's at the rear of the track and only 20 mms gap? Thanks for this video., Really well explained
Difficult without a picture of yours but some rails have plastic brackets with a small swinging arm that you swing into the vertical position and this frees it from the bracket. Then you can pull it away to get to the screw. You can always email me some pictures. ojhandyman@gmail.com
I tried twice and failed . Ended up putting my old fitting back up . Decided to search for the instructions and found you so many thanks I’ll try again tomorrow
