Can someone explain to me why what looks to be a twin linked las cannon does nothing to the SM when in kore it usually one taps a Marine? Also why dies it fire more like a Gatling? Is this some sort of wierd jerry rigged las gun setup? The barrel looks way too big for that. What am i missing?
Can someone with a good lore knowledge try to explain whats going on here? Who are these psychers, what are they protecting? What is that giant talking ball, whos talking through that ball? Who are the white space marines, what are they doing? Who is the guy on the floor connected to another giant ball, why does he go insane and they kill him?
Oh Warhammer, why? Why did you have to alienate your fan base like this gentleman here and the millions of others who have supported you for decades by adding female Custodes & trying to gaslight the fans saying “it’s always been this way” then adding the 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ Custodes on top of that. Legitimate brand suicide of one of the last most BASED franchises ever made of war, suffering & death. What happened to this guy is nothing short of criminal. The original creator, made this. It was so successful, Games Workshop offered him a job and told him he be making content officially for them. Only for Games Workshop to turn around and cancel all fan projects and all Astarte's projects and told him to remove it from his RU-vid Page. This is why meeting your heroes sometimes backfires. He wanted a job at dreams workshop, he got it. It cost him everything he had worked for. I dunno where he is now, but they have already sabotaged the live action series with the crap they are pushing. GW is done. I love Warhammer 40k, I have most of the games and some books and a few figures. However after I found out about this. I watched Astartes on the original channel when it was around. Thanks for keeping the best Warhammer animation ever made alive.
If Games Workshop made this, the Space Marines would come through, hold a pose, make a speech about heretics, before doing anything else. If GW made this, we'd be dosed in cheese exposition the whole way through. If GW made this, the marines would employ zero tactics (despite being supposed tactical geniuses). If GW made this, the marines would not look like the absolute killing machines they're supposed to be. Thank the Emperor that GW did *not* make this.
It's so sad to know that GW ruined a true work of art for money. The animations on their subscription-only channel are nothing compared to this. We will never see it's likeness again.

@@MolGaeilge It's not deep lore, it's something the creator of the Astartes series made up for the show. Had they continued, the orb's backstory would of probably been fleshed out a bit more.
I'll never understand why GW removed this masterpiece from the original creator (ONE freaking chad). I discovered this project years ago and this was my first entry into 40k. Glad it's still possible to find it !
