The combat in Silent Hill 2 is easy and doesn't require any skill. I'm having a hard time believing we were supposed to run away instead of fight when the enemies barely pose a threat and the game gives the player an abundance of weapons and ammo. I'm convinced most of the people complaining about SH2 remake having combat never played the original.
Yeah when everyone complained about the gameplay trailer no one realizes how hard it was always to actually wack the hell out of your target with a blunt weapon and when you shoot it took a hella ammo to take your enemy down so these comments must be from the new kids playing on easy and very easy mode 😂
no there not even ment to be any way to win with comba agest pirmeand head becsue its the only enemy you can't kill as its a force of nature!!!! your meint to adviod the permind head and just puzzle solve you way to the end of the game while killing the enemys that are not pirmind head. the pirmend head is bascly exactly like the niemsius from resdant evil! just aviod pirmend head untill after you fisnh the last puzzle then pirmend head just goues okay i'm giong to head out. then pirmend head bascsly does die bescue they just had enotgh of the players evasivness and bacly just runs out of steam bacly.
I've grown tired of the "James can't fight because he's an average dude" excuse. Do we use that same excuse for Silent Hill 1, 3 or 4? Especially SH4, Henry is as basic bare bones average as you could possibly be and Heather is what, 17? Siilent hill has combat because it's a video game. The way people act when they hear Silent Hill has combat makes me think y'all want a walking sim instead, and i thought thats what people hated about Bloobers other games? 🤔
Agree with everything you said. I've seen so many people saying ''Silent Hill 2 was never about the combat'' yet the game has boss fights and gives you a variety of weapons & ammo/health drinks to deal with enemies.
@@remakestation573 not to mention (especially SH2) it is sooo generous with ammo and health. Literally start a One Man Army even on harder difficulties.
I could care less about the combat. All I care about is if the game will be a good creepy, psychological atmospheric game and the developers said that the last trailer shown was an early build of the game and it’s much better and polished up now. Also, the new design of James was leaked and that design was changed because fans had a criticism of how he looked so that goes to show they are listening to peoples criticisms to make this the best game they can.
