Hi. First, thank you for the video. Now, the reason for my comment is I would like to pick your brain. I just replaced the screen on my mom’s iPad 9th Gen. I watched several videos multiple times before attempting it. The only problem I had was attaching the old bracket to the old home button/new digitizer. For the life of me I couldn’t get it lined up properly. After hours of going back and forth with it I got it to click and just ran with it. I used B7000 to glue it in place, let it sit for 20-30 minutes and then closed up the iPad without issue. Now the button clicks but you have to press it deeper than you should have to. Do you have any idea what I did wrong/what I can do to get it right if I need to do it again?
Hi, I just came across your content, I have one of these computers but can't seem to get an original charger for it so I bought a universal one unfortunately the system seems to be rejecting the charger, have you ever experienced that and what was your solution? Also can the computer be programmed to accept or use the charger?
i would test the charger on a volt meter. If the charger is in fact working, i would double check that you ordered the correct one. You liekly wont find an OEM charger unless you get on Ebay. An after market should work just fine. I would confirm you have the correct charger, and if its showing coreect on a volt meter i hate to say but your main board may actually be the culprite. If so you maybe can find a refurb one on EBay. This machine is getting a bit dated, if you want to simply retireive files they should be safe and sound on the harddrive!
Hey bro can you answer my question ❓ - my ipad just a sudden death, no falls nothing happened. It won't turn on, not charging n not charging when plug into computer. Idk what is the reason, can you help me with it. I think it's the battery or screen problem, just my guess!..
@@techrepair440 when charging it doesn't Turn on, it doesn't show charging sign. 🥲 I don't use original Cable? But when I try with original Cable it's still the same.!!
Hello! Could you ask me a question? I exchanged the glass for another one that is not original from Apple, so the generic pen (Stylus Pencil sold on aliexpress) did not work, does this happen with all pens? Because the glass is not original! Does that make sense to you in any way?
It is hard to say wiehter it is the glass or the pen, i would try the stylus on another device to be sure it works on anything, if it doesnt i would say replace the pen, and almost all replacment glass will not be made by apple, i havent experienced any issues like you are saying with aftermarket glass so i will assume it is a faulty pen. Hope that helps!
I have to agree because may screen broke too but its probably a new way of break and I need to fegur out how replace the screen without taking it in and you did great on the work you did to the screen.
I appreciate the hard work that went into making this video I wished you the camera was placed at a different angle because I missed some important parts like when you started working on the home button. Thank you again for all the advice and just know it went to good use. Take care.
Thanks very much for the feedback, i agree, the placement needs work, I've been using a tripod, i need to get a mounted arm or something to get it in the correct position. Appreciate the feedback, happy to help!
