Good one Brian. I’d love to hear your thoughts on “back pressure” with a muffler.
@Brian2bears
@Brian2bears 2 дня назад
@IndianaDoug Basically, my opinion is that after 80% of the exhaust port diameter, gains are insignificant. Resonance may have been the better term. The writings of Gordan Jennings are very good on the subject. All of this is not my development but the knowledge of others. Specifically, deep scientific professionals in places the unsuspecting would not expect them to be... That 80% rule in a recipe produces a saw with grunt, sometimes... I am grateful you watched INDIANA DOUG, thank you for the positive support sir...

Great review Brian! Edge held up very well, even higher numbers than the Casterman so far. Glad you got this one and gave it such a thorough go. Good tips on the cleaning too. Ill admit to never polishing my Camp axe, I just wire-wheel the gunk off and its darkened alot. Been loving this series as always, ive missed a few of your longer vids but been catching up via the Shorts. Good stuff. Cheers mate 👍👍🪓🪓

@kurts64 Antonio down below recommended a sissal wheel on a buffer. Another Tui owner I watch uses a light buffing compound on a buffer...it should be noted I kept the Tui out of the low stump wood. The TIMBERPILOT ate all of that... 22.5 degrees is a nice balance of durability and chopping effectiveness... I have mixed feelings on the shorts... To see you run the WORK AXE would be of great interest to me... I am glad you watched Mr. Kurt...

Awesome mate. That TimberPilot sure holds an edge, thats quite a few swings! Dont let the sawyers dissuade anything; axes are better- its only when a chain-sawyer picks up an axe, that he realises hes been doin it the easy way the whole time 🤣 love your work Brian well done mate👍👍 Btw, personally ida been quite happy to hear the axe talk/run-down, youve got some serious runs on the board.

Good evening sir. This is a custom build splitting axe at 27.5 degrees, a high center line, larger poll with Tasmanian traits. 5lb 10oz total weight, the handle at 29", it will chop. I fell this tree with the axe. I speak on it in the voice-over, and then later speak on it @38:38. There is a link in the description to the website and my TIMBERPILOT playlist. Thank you for watching...
