I am a student at Heartland Baptist Bible College. I've always enjoyed listening to Heartland's groups and still do to this day. The purpose of this channel is to allow people to listen to good Godly music that honors and praises God. I feel blessed to be a part of this community of believers while enjoying some amazing gospel music!
The second verse reminds me of Kalen, a young man in my youth group growing up who passed away from cancer a few years ago. This song was special to him, and our Church now calls it My Hope Is In The Lord (Kalen's Song) because this song represents his faith and his story so well.

I died in the hospital and was told i would only live 3 months. I went to my church and this was sung. It broke me. Welp its 4 years latwr im in the choir and singing this for others! Trust God. TRUST CHRIST!
I am so glad that I am saved! Glory to God, He is coming soon! I may be young but I can not wait for my Lord and Savior to return. I will get to see my mother and baby sister once again and all of the other family members who have gone on to the other side. Just any day now my Lord will be returning. 🥰

@@MrSamuelhooper yes, the grace of God is the root of all souls saved from hell but I am referring to the manner of being saved. No one in the OT was saved in the manner that this song is referencing in that verse. The song specifically says "the host of them who called upon the savior..." Rahab didn't call on Jesus to save her. She believed in God and it was counted unto her for righteousness, as the OT worked.
