I DON'T KNOW IF YOU SHARPENED THEM. I BOUGHT TWO AND BELIEVE ME, THEY DON'T SHAVE. I HAD TO TAKE THE EDGE OFF SO THEY WOULD SHAVE. AND I ALSO HAD TO TAKE IT APART AND POLISH SOME PARTS SO THE LINERLOCK SECURITY WOULD WORK BETTER.
Quality content thanks guys. I got the large blue honeybadger. It´s a bit longer (handle) than the Spyderco Tenacious (partially serrated black) and it fits my hand even better. It opens more easily than the SC Tenacious even with the "spidey flick". Both opening mechanisms (flipper and thumb hole) work well on the Honey Badger. Well worth the price even though mine is the 8cr13MOV steel version. Thinking about buying the D2 one as well. The only thing better about the Spyderco Tenacious in my opinion is the looks (and maybe the liner lock) that´s debatable because the blue HB is pretty rad looking as well.
Great knife for my needs great cutter for finess with paper and light whittling has some blemish issues with time and pocket lint but is great and easy to keep the edge, and cleaning is an oiled rag
I want to see you guys test the Kizer Cormarant Button Lock, Civivi Relic Liner Lock, CJRB Pyrite Tanto, QSP Unicorn and Civivi Elementum II Button Lock.
Is there any recommendation for small pocket knives like this? Is there any other alternatives? I would like to have a small knife like this but not sure if there is something else better
I had a RAT 1 a couple of years ago (AUS 8) and I somehow ended up breaking the blade as well, and I wasn’t very hard on it, but I like the knife and will get another one. I will say: this is more of a $25 - $30 knife.
I used to live off this and adore it for its ability to keep you alive for cheap, and taste good to me. I just ate a can after 10yrs n am gonna go buy every can in the store but I swear, I swear!!!...it was different when the lid needed a can opener. With the flip-top lid, they changed the way they made it.
I own two regular sized CJRB Feldspar knives which I bought before you posted this video. They function with no issues for me, I love watching your torture tests, so keep at it…!
I know I'm a bit late to the comments here, but you just gave me an idea. I have a used 5.11 Rush Delivery Lima on the way from eBay. I've had my Ka-bar Becker Eskabar(BK14) for several years now. Putting it right under that flap for easy access is brilliant!
You guys are Awesome! I've never seen such an exhaustive brutal testing of a small EDC knife! Obviously Benchmade makes Quality products as you so convincingly demonstrated. Thank you!
After years of hearing knife reviewers rave about the Penguin I finally bought one. I haven’t carried it yet; may not now after seeing your test results.
I would be afraid of cutting myself with that knife too... Because I have. And it was so sharp I wasn't even sure I did right away until the blood started flowing.
