8 total DCAs. However if you use the app MIXING STATION, you can create virtual DCAs. Not sure of how many but definitely more than the 8 offered on the console.
Hello, I have the Mixing Station that I like my question is that it is possible to block in the return mode the front to prevent musicians in the middle of the concert touching the front thank you
i am setting up my church live streaming using matrix on my x32. However, when i am using my talk back mic to talk to my musicians IEM, it also go through the matrix and my audience on the live stream can actually hear it too. Any idea what have i missed? Thanks
Yes, you can create two matrix busses that the mono bus feeds. They will have the same source audio, but you can manage EQ, compression, and other processing separately for your two destinations.
My band as M32C and DL32. They want this to be their IEM rack and control Preamps of the DL32. Then, they want to use AES50 to send those inputs to a venue FOH X32 mixer. I am trying to wrap my head around this. Here's what I have: DL32 configured as master clock (48k). DL32 AES A connected to M32C AES50 A. M32C set Sync to AES50A, and routed with AES50A as input sources 1-32. M32C set to Lock the stagebox. M32C set to control AES50A preamps. M32C is also routing outputs to AES50A for buses 1-10 for IEMs. Then, DL32 AES50 B connected to FOH x32 AES50 A port. X32 FOH set Sync to AES50A, and routed with AES50A as input sources 1-32. This should give FOH all our DL32 inputs with Gain Trim only. Thus, they can mix FOH as they see fit for the venue. There is no need to send audio from M32C to X32 or vice versa. They simply want to share the DL32 as if it was a physical splitter snake. Will this work? Is there something wrong with this solution???
@@toddleach1108 This was explained to me by a local sound company. Your idea seems correct. The FOH is using local outputs and XLRs running to speakers.
I have no idea what's going on. My mic has worked fine for a year, recording and all and now it's only playing back on the right side. It shows it's recording to both left and right but I can only hear it out of the right side. It's not my headphones or my speakers because I can you hear you clearly on both sides, but for some reason my recordings are only playing on the right while showing recording on both sides.
The sends can only be saved in groups. 1-8, 9-12 and 13-16. This is a big oversight. I wanna have different monitor mixes saved as snippets so when my different musicians come in on sundays they can recall their preferred mix every time. Saving a different snippet for each mixbus monitor mix is my goal but doesnt appear to be possible on an individual mix basis.
Unfortunately this didn't work for me. My file was from the start showing both channels, but no sound on the right. I replaced right side with left as per your video twice, but still no audio...any ideas?
When I hit start when I output nothing shows to my external monitor. I have an SDI hooked up to my external monitor to output a desktop feed. How do you setup your Decklink Desktop Video Software connectors?

Thanks for an excellent video. I do not have access to my X32 as its church and I am at home. But I apply what I learned from you today. My Problem is , no audio sound seems to be leaving behringer x32 compact to the 3 floor monitors . The monitors are connected to two amplifiers and are working properly . Audio sound is going through the Behringer x32 to the 2 main speakers but not through the monitors. can you help me? You are an excellent Teacher.
Yes. At the time we were using the cheese-grater Mac Pros that were more than capable to accomplish this. Since then we have switched to Mac Studios which are even better for multi-application single workstation deployments.
There is a midi controller on my computer that I would like to use as vst for beat making . I am using a x32 . The midi is showing on cubase and I have signal but the sound it not coming out. Any help please!

i see you have KEYS and SYNTH using channel 01-02-03-04, for L & R, if i use a "Y" cable, can i put the keys only on channel 01, and synth only on channel 02, in stereo??
Im using an M32c with a DL32 for IEMS rack with 2 psm 300s. Right now its been a pain because we have to run so many xlr cords to the FOH box. which is also a DL32. And then we have to set the outputs to direct output in relation to the input channel and set to pre eq. There has to be a way to do this cleaner and not have so many cords
