Hi thank you for the video. You kindly mentioned Delta 4x4 alloy wheels. The smallest size they make is 17inch klassic b are these to big for the Ducato. I am getting mixed recommendations thank you for your help Kam
@@kamrai5962 You can fit 17” wheels but you would need a lower profile tyre so the overall diameter is the same. Worth noting your insurance company may charge you for the change of wheels.
Coming here late! Looking to buy the same combo. I believed the tv can connect to sound bar via Bluetooth. Might introduce sound sound syncing delay but do away with hdmi cabling.
I’m running 55psi all round. They are noisier and I’d say 10% less mpg so there’s deff a compromise. One this to watch is there useless on wet grass. You just did big holes.
@@riccscampervan yes I have got stuck a few times on grass with my tyres, I've been playing with the pressures but doesn't seem to help 😀,thanks for the reply
I’ll catch up with your videos, I just bought a lot of stuff for the camper last week and I’m still receiving packages from Amazon. Hahaha 6 months ago I bought 2 life po4 100ah batteries and a 2000w inverter. What kind of electrical installation do you have?
@@mof78 I’ve been meaning to do one. I did one when I first got them as a first Impression of them you can check out but now I’ve had them for over a year I need to do a follow up.
I immediately thought of my experience and working method, I drive an X5 Carbon Black. As a final step and after washing, Nanolex SiSplash is extremely helpful. Spray on, rinse and then BLOW DRY. Check out their video, demo. Have fun!
Informative upgrade, thank-you. Personal experience, depending on heating system, is it is a common issue, regardless of van/motorhome manufacturer. Your improved upgrade, will help many. Personal issue with hot air blown systems, is the main apparatus is often placed under a seat/bed in the van. This means during a cold night the heating is on, your head or toes can get very hot (+ annoying noise!) and the air you breath is very dry. Interested to see how the new underfloor heating system fitted to the new Swift Carrera Range works. It should remove the heat/noise issue at night, but with regards spread of heat between outlets, i expect the same issue will remain, without your identified upgrade. Enjoying content on your channel, thanks.
Admire your handiwork 👌 UK law is simple for Van Life, 'no' sticker is 'legally' required to be displayed, if 'under' 2x 10 Litre bottles of LPG. An advisory notice exists, for manufacturers of Caravans, Campervan and Motorhomes.. The notice states, 'to to aid emergency services (Police, Fire, Ambulance), all vehicles carrying high pressure (Green Badge) or flammable (Red Badge) containers or systems, are requested to display industry standard warning signs. Industry standard is that the symbol, colour and lettering on the badges are universally easily identifiable, which should be adhered too if displaying a badge, otherwise, the badge may not be identified or recognised by emergency services, or members of the public, in the event of an accident or incident'. So either have no badging, or if having badging, adhere to universal industry safety practice, is what the advisory notice simply states. Arguably your badging, is changed only by colour and is a mid-way point. Some would argue it is better than not displaying any safety badge. Your personal choice. Personally, I believe in helping our Emergency Services, so adherence to health and safety, even if it is an advisory notice, in a colour badge you don't like, is always in my personal opinion, 'best-practice.' 👍
Thanks is for the in-depth reply. I did look into it further and came up with similar info. Seems it’s only required on the locker it’s self so if your bottle is in a internal locker the sticker has to be on the locker door rather than the outside of the van. Outside the van is a recommendation. I come from a smaller campervan background having owned meany VW and it’s rare that owners put a sticker in the outside of the vehicle. So as you say I’m a halfway house. I did reach out to the fire service and they say if they are attending a fire on a campervan they will presume there’s a bottle and not look for a sticker to tell them.
Hi Ric, got the same vehicle as you so loved the tv install video. Couple of questions on the Avtex tv and sound bar have you found a configuration for the sound bar to come on when you turn the tv on automatically. Also random question have you found a website that we can buy Adria parts as I broke one of the brackets for the toiletry items compartment just behind the toilet regards Steve
@@nobbyknowall I’ve double checked and deff comes on from the TV remote. Make sure you have the sound setting in the TV set to ARC and you have an hdmi from the tv to the sound bar.
They look great. I’m just about to order similar for my new Adria. I was shocked when I checked with the Insurance they want £150.00 for the pleasure. Seems a bit steep to me!!!
My insurance tried the same but I pointed out they were the same size so why charge more. In the end they included them for free. I’m with Comfort Insurance.
@@riccscampervan That’s who I’m with coincidentally. I’ve drafted an email to them with a similar argument. The Fiat supplied alloys and tyres cost similar or more so can’t see the logic. Thanks.
I love mine on My sprinter. There is a small amount of noise but they handle very well. Great on rough terrain. They make the van look so much better too😎👍
We have an SGX Sport and experience the same "challenges" with the lions share of the warm air heat coming through the vents in the garage. Thanks for the video, another job for the list
Cheers Rich, we have same and noticed same heat distribution. Great when in the drop down bed, all toasty but more beneficial to be able to redistribute heat at other times. Helpful vid!
Hi great video. I’ve just got a new Adria I love your set up. Could you post the link for the double 12v adapter and HDMI angled adapter that’s if you’ve still got them on your order history. Cheers Shaun.
New wheels do look amazing ……can I ask what do you do with the old wheels ? …..keep them or sell them on? …I’m thinking of buying new rims for my van , I just don’t have the space to keep the old ones …👍👍👍👍
I couldn’t find that one so went with a narrower one. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403360896048?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=kdRMWGFaToO&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=7OedjJaSQHC&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
