I have a 2007 K1200GT without a baffle on my Remus exhaust, and I want it slightly quieter. No one seems to know what the Remus revolution baffle looks like, which one I need, or where to buy one. Any ideas?
You dont have a reason not to get one! Just Made a 300 mile trip to Belgium this weekend. Most of the maintanance you can do it by yourself. Only if you can choose the sport not the classic model… only build after 2003zz
Well to be honest this tells me fuck all about the bike so whats the vid all about ???????? If its riding a bike I do it most days of my life Jesus give me some hope !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What would you say you like and maybe do not like about your R850R? How long have you had it and how many miles have you covered? Have you had any issues with it? I am curious because I just bought a 1996 R850R yesterday. Mine is in very nice condition, I did get the hard bags on mine, spoke wheels which I wanted, and only 20K miles and it runs very good with no work needed and a lot of records documentation. So far I think the bike feels very heavy in the front... Like I have a passenger on my front fender when it is slow like in a parking lot..... This goes away quickly once you are moving at speed. The gearbox is clunky, but I had a Harley Sportster that was the same way. I have only had the test drive so far so I will ride it more in the coming days to see how the rest of it is going. I have a larger windscreen on mine, does your small one there help at all?? Thanks from Georgia USA.
Hi Kirk, Thanks for watching the video. I have had the BMW R850r now for 2yrs and it has ran 30k. What i like of the bike is the very low maintanance cost. The most of the services you can do it by yourself. It has a shaft drive. The common things you know.I search for this one, because it has the 6speed gear.On paper it has a 71horsepower but on the dyno it almost get 80horsepower,the 20 liter tank and driving is so easy.I agree on low speed its hard to handle, but i learned it to correct it with the clutch lever and a little bit throttle. I replaced the regular sparks with the irridium ones and noticed it starts without the choke handle up.. I have the hard cases too,its very handy the mrs and i have done some travell through the country, i'm planning a tour to the eiffel next month with a mate on a Harley.I manage to get a softcase too and a tankbag very handy and classy. What i dont like is,it has no fuel gage, suddenly the light of the fuel comes on and in my head i need to fill it up. Its so easy to watch at a fuel gage and do the math to fill it up. I would like to have a gear indicator. Other than this minor issues im fond of the boxer twin. Even the mrs like it to drive the R850r instead of her Honda nc750s dct version. Please do watch my latest video. I uploaded a short drive to Rotterdam, also named by people as Manhattan on the Maas..... Oh and i mounted a few days ago handguards, even i have the heated grips its so nice to keep the cold off your knuckles. I forgot to mention if you fill the premium fuel it runs so much smoother..cheers have a nice day..
