Just a few corrections to the above header: Born on 18th of August 1917, in Kielce Poland and died on 04th of April 2014 in Ganei Yehuda Israel, rose to a rank of a Major in the British army (not 2nd Lieutenant, as mentioned above, he was a Captain in 45 when leading his troops to action on the Italian battle field and got the Major shortly after, when the brigade was transferred to Belgium and Holland), became a Lieutenant Colonel in Israeli Army (1948) and after retirement (while in reserve) been promoted to the rank of a Colonel.

OMG! thank you so much for posting all these videos from the Brigade's heroes! Peltz, Bartov, Shamir, thank you, thank you!!! How did you manage to get these extra takes that were obviously from the In Our Own Hands docu? What a treasure, all these guys are unfortunately departed from this world by now.

The visuals and information are marvelous, including the detailed source list at the end, paralleling the library's notes and bibliography (which I would link to here, but the system doesn't allow that). See the transcript link in the "About" tab.
