The song they played has the lyrics, about a woman having sex with a guy a woman singing: "nobody loves me better". Such a lie! Should be: 'nobody has the $...better".
Why did you guys take the back way around grand bahama to abaco that you did - any particular reason you didn’t follow the nice sandy beaches along grand bahama then cut over to Abaco?
Guys , thank you for posting this video . I'm across acrossing a very difficult moment in my life and I find so much positive inspiration here. God bless you all. Best regards
It failed because for the same reason many other large investment projects failed there. With the impending desire for Independence and the antics the Bahamian Government used during that time… to lure prospective investors with good deals and promises only to change the deals last minute… in effort to suck more money out of investors, then the investors cut their losses and abandon their projects. The blame rests solely on the Bahama Government… mostly those in Nassau who were hell-bent on seeing Freeport fail. They still act the same way today. Sad really!!!
I really did not want to believe the narrative that those in Nassau want to see Freeport fail but there is a lot of evidence for this case. The Nassuvians know that New Providence is fully built out except for some swamp land that would have to be reclaimed but that Grand Bahama, which is far larger, could offer much more opportunity for profitable development if it were given the chance. Of course, that comes with downsides as well including drugs and gangs and crime. It sucks that one must choose between wholesome living and economic prosperity but those seem to be the choices on offer for many decades. As a professional market timer I can tell you one thing though: value is value and no amount of manipulation or political games will stop society from eventually recognizing it and taking advantage of it. Freeport and all of Grand Bahama represents real value today with plenty of available VERY low cost land, a ton of undeveloped canal front and oceanfront lots, stable electricity (albeit not cheap), good fresh water (especially since the reverse osmosis plant began augmenting wells contaminated by Dorian) and proximity to the USA. As recently as 4 years ago there was no good mobile data and people were dealing with 16 mbit/S DSL (phone line based) internet. All of that has changed now. The mobile phones now work here just like they do in the states. I get 180mbit/s internet over cable and of course if I want starlink I can get that for about $80 per month here (cheaper than in the USA because Starlink knows Bahamians don't make much money). The rise of Grand Bahama is inevitable. I don't believe this, I know it. I know that many jobs can now be done remotely. The Bahamian government needs to make it easy and low cost for high tech people to come here, work remote and then spend their high salaries on the local economy. Every dime spent has duty paid and vat too. So there is no need for all this work permit and other crap. The government will get its money when it stops being greedy.
The world's coral reefs are dying?. I think Al Gore and occasio-cortez are lying. That place is 100 miles from the United States and it's teeming with life! I'm sorry John Kerry just called me over to gas up his Learjet . I got to go!
This is the very first of these videos that was reccomended to my home page a few years ago... today we picked up a brand new 2021 seadoo and are making our dreams a reality! So excited. Thank you for posting and opening my eyes to the possibilities! Best suggestion I've ever had ❤️
Thank gosh someone plays a damn good song to sing to while watching this video! I’m so sick of this copyright non sense and the boring music along with it.
