Also, if you use timed release fertilizer pellets or granules, such as Osmocote PLUS, you simply need to sprinkle the fertilizer balls into the soil maybe three times per YEAR. It’s so much easier than liquid fertilizers.

Half strength. It depends what you’re using. There is a common phrase some gardeners say for fertilizing, where you should do it "WEAKLY, weekly" 😆 So.. less strong, but regularly, so plant has a consistent flow of low level nutrients. if we do heavy doses every time, that can cause burning. Always better to do half of whatever the directions say. And it’s important to not fertilize dry soil, too. Water a little and then fertilize. For "cushioning" 🤣
