Welcome to my channel! My name is Bai Ruskus but everyone calls me Chef Bai. I'm obsessed with delicious food with purpose, after all, I am a professional chef, activist and best-selling author of the cookbook Cook. Heal. Go Vegan! I'm not a vegan so I'm neither practicing nor preaching; but beef especially produces orders of magnitude more greenhouse gas and uses orders of magnitude more land and water than any plant. I think "clean meat" eating - focusing on meats like chicken and fish that are both healthier and more environmentally friendly, makes more sense personally though. (Chicken and fish, disclosure, also produce way more emissions to produce than any plant, but way less than beef or pork)
You can wear a special glove 🧤 when you’re cutting anything to save your skin hand from getting hurt. You buy at restaurant supply store. I have when I used to cut lemons 🍋 and 🍋🟩 limes. Check it out. My friend❤😊
This is more of anti inflammatory diet just a disclosure it doesn't take away pain but does help with inflammation or endo belly decreasing. I also have endo for years now and eat like this as well does it help pain no but it helps the complications from the gut as well. Best of luck to everyone.
Wow, this is so informative. I say as I’m drinking my red Gatorade don’t worry I’m gonna wash it all down with a Diet Coke and some skittles and a double bacon cheeseburger from McDonald’s.😊
A few years ago I would have thought this was nonsense but I've had such unbelievable experiences with doctors in the past few years and especially months that I am dipping my toes into this area now. I would love to learn more because I think it's so difficult to differentiate between things that actually help and the bakingsoda-ginger-smoothie side of the internet. If you have any tipps please share ❤
Also, the world’s pretty fine for girls and most modern countries unless you’re talking about some parts in the Middle East Africa, Asia, which you’re probably not girls are fine
“fine” unfortunately isn’t gonna cut it for me and i understand that in the U.S. we aren’t treated like they are other places but that doesn’t mean there isn’t always room to grow
Short term you may have hid the symptoms, but long term the carnivore diet will cause cardiovascular disease (high saturated fat and high sources of cholesterol) and increase risk of cancer. But you do you...
I stop at the brown rice, or sometimes beans, certainly tofu, plant milk dairy free. 🆓 the best step in better periods for me was going on an animal based diet. No more period pain whatsoever. Used to have debilitating two days of cramps that would practically put me in the hospital. Would have to take ibuprofen before the cramps started or would repeatedly throw up until there was only bile. Excruciating pain that would subside if I could keep the bath hot enough! I hope everyone watching or reading would give up the grains and try only eating what is naturally readily available from trees, fruits, honey red meat 🥩 and organs!
Yes it may have helped your period pains but your cardiovascular health will pay the price. Low carb, high saturated fat & cholesterol diets are not healthy in the long term, they may hide temporary symptoms but after time it will increase your risks for heart disease and cancer.
@@ChefBai look into Dr. William Davis work, he is a cardiologist and recommends animal fats into the diet. What they’ve been recommending for years is a farce and has been known to CAUSE cardiovascular health problems. I choose to believe the little guys that are going against government recommendations! Thankyou for your concern for my heart health. I’m as healthy as a horse and wasn’t as a vegan.
Combining clean high protein plants foods like lentils, tofu, beans, tempeh, brown rice, and mixing with power greens like kale, spinach, broccoli, and using seeds such as chia, flax, hemp into dressings and sauces. Very doable but you just have to be strategic and smart with planning out your meals.
