Really enjoyed this. I grew up on the South Side of Chicago in the 1940', 50s, and '60s and Field's was our family's major destination store downtown. As a child, Field's was where you went for the REAL Santa Claus. All the other guys in red suits and beards were only "Santa's helpers." And, the toy department. OMG, that was Nirvana for a kid. What really sold my mother (originally from Duluth, MN) was that when I was a small child I left my teddy bear in the Walnut Room. My mother called the store and it had been turned into the lost and found. They put it on a delivery truck and sent it out to our home in South Shore the next day. It would have been helpful if the questions were repeated. The questions cannot be heard on the video. If the complete presentation is available on video it would be great if somone could provide a link. A couple comments on some points made by Ms.Sullivan: 1) The maximum of $6,000 that Marshall Field would pay his managers equals about $180,000 in 2023. 2) the Iroquois Theater was only about a half block from the NW corner of Fields. It was on the north side of Randolf St. about a half block west of State St.. 3) The title of Levi Lighter's daughter's husband would be "Viceroy of India." The title Eperor/Empress of India was reserved for the soveriegn of the United Kingdom, Victoria and her successors.

I could not be more proud of all of the hard work, extra time, accommodations, and sacrifices that all of the graduates, faculty, and staff have put in to these past few years, particularly since COVID-19's devastating effects at both the college and the hosting hospitals that provided a multitude of clinical training, personal and professional experience, the professional and personal guidance, attention, and the support for the academic, emotional, physical, and psychological demands and additional stress that COVID-19 created. Thank you for allowing us to watch the ceremony, in spite of COVID and because we are all over the USA (Congrats from Florida!) Riley, we are so very proud of your hard work, sacrifices, dedication, and genuine love for your profession. Cheers to the Nursing graduates of 2021! 👩🏼🎓 👩🏼⚕️ 🤕 🏥 🎉👏🏼🩺💉💙 God bless you all and may you stay safe, healthy, and happy in your chosen career. The student video montage literally made me sob and I’ve heard so much about so many of you that I will never meet but I couldn’t be more proud that my daughter was a part of this program and I feel so blessed that she chose MCC and I am blessed that she was able to complete her clinicals with such a supportive environment. Genuinely grateful and proud of all of you, including faculty and staff!
