How to do it: You need one of the first three mutations free. You start drinking as much saltwater as possible. Throw up. Drink fresh water so you don’t die of dehydration. Repeat until you get the mutation Reniculate kidneys recommended. You’re welcome.
Hey Mr. Kanka! It’s one of your old students, Reagan Beasley! I miss having you as a teacher. I’m about to be in my first year of high school! Can you believe how fast time goes? I’m gonna miss all of my teachers, from 6th grade all the way to 8th grade. I will miss all of them. I’m gonna miss being in middle school all together! I wish I could see you again. I’m nervous but excited to be in high school at the same time, I just don’t know what it will be like. It’s nice to have a chat with you again. How have you been? What have you been doing this summer? I do taekwondo, I have since I was suuuuuper little, like 4 years old I think. In fact, I just got back from taekwondo today! I’m currently a high red belt in taekwondo, which all the high belts except for white have a black stripe in them, and actually, I am one test away from getting my black belt! I want to cry because I miss you so much. I loved having you as a teacher❤. You were one of the best teachers I had in middle school. From time to time I think of you, and sometimes I wish I could see you again. I’m not sure if that will happen though, but I hope it does! I’ll chat with you later Mr. Kanka! See ya!
Hi Reagan! Lovely to hear from you again. :D My summer has been full of teaching, playing video games, and gardening. My blackberry bush has grown fruit for the first time this summer, and the berries have been delicious! I bet you kick butt in taekwondo-- way to stick with it for so long. Hope your middle school years were fun, and that high school is even better!
@@gabrielkanka I’m a bit of a tomboy nowadays, sooooo I do like playing Pokémon games on my Nintendo lite! I did not know you had a blackberry bush! It’s really cool that it has grown fruit for the first time! You are 100 percent 💯 right about me kicking butt in taekwondo! If I would have quit before I got to high red, that would have been a big disappointment. I feel like most people either quit before black belt, or they quit when they hit black belt and don’t come back. I’m not going to quit when I hit black belt though! There is a taekwondo book that students have to study from, and it even says in the meaning of a black belt, “Here the student must choose a path. Continue the journey in pursuit of greater knowledge, or leave the path only accepting partial fulfillment of the self.” I am definitely not going to quit when I hit black belt! I have had experience teaching younger students who are at a lower rank, and I enjoy it! I usually help teach and help other students when an instructor asks me to help a certain student with whatever it may be, from forms, to self defense. Not really kicking or sparring because those aren’t really individual skills for each belt like forms and self defense.
Imagine this game and games like this via the NVIDIA OMNIVERSE, where it's all simulated in real time and you control this simulated model in a simulated 3D world that simulated life... We could have THE ISLE on an entire simulated planets with continents were different species live... The sim verse is nuts.
This also happened to me 3 times today. First time playing on the horde test server and half the sounds don't work. 1 call, running, and attacking make no sound. Then the game eventually makes a windows error message that says "fatal Error" game crashes about 1-2 minutes after that.
@@jacklarrieu9208 tapping space to fly up instead of holding it will help a lot. Time it with your wing beats. Also, using shift to sprint-- you only need to tap it until your wings flap-- momentum will keep you moving at sprint speed without having to hold the button down and drain stam.
I played around with it more and figured out that it also affects how much stamina you use when flying upward! Still not sure if it's worth it, but I enjoyed experimenting.
@@coltonhardy2257 do you know the controls for sniffing them out? You gotta cling to the sea or river bed with ctrl, then q to sniff. Look for bubbles on your scent bar.
There does need to be more AI but there’s a lot more than there was on legacy, those were a struggle growing a Rex a few years ago, no players online to eat, no AI to spawn
It's bad enough that the isle has one of the worst flight systems currently in an animal survival game, but it went one step further in making you have to lie down for a billion years in between short flights. And to add insult to injury, they intentionally made flight this bad when they had a much better looking prototype 4 years ago.
What makes the flight system awful, to you, besides the admittedly atrocious stam regen? I just started playing a year and a half ago, so I'm unfamiliar with the prototype you mentioned. I really enjoy the way flight works in the Isle, but that may just be because I've gotten used to it XD
@@gabrielkanka -There is no separate flapping and gliding modes. The animations just mix together without you having any control over which you want to do. This means you cannot perform actions like stalling out or swooping, because the ptera will automatically start flapping when you pull up. -Momentum barely carries when you fly upwards, and since you can't choose to glide, you always flap when you gain altitude, costing stamina. -Turning with a and d looks very clunky, yet it is the most cost effective way to turn, since holding w will flap and cost stam if you aim at a slightly upward angle. -The flight itself feels very "automatic" so to speak. Whenever you aren't actively choosing to go in a direction, you automatically level out to a fixed angle of descent. This makes controlling the ptera awkward at times and overall makes the mechanic far less dynamic, like gravity isn't even a factor. -The camera is very static. When they were still developing ptera before the release of evrima, they shared a few videos of the WIP flight system. They can still be found on the developer dmdmdm's youtube channel. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-h9ktXs0JECA.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aD4r14Ymbs0.html These videos showcase a system that is much more dynamic, with the ptera not being stuck at a fixed gliding angle and being much more heavily influenced by gravity. These maneuvers are not possible with the current system.
I’ll take The Isles flight over the animated levitation they pass as flying in other games like Ark, PoT or BoB. Still would love a better stam system though.
@@Nrex117 Ark I agree with, but PoT and BoB both have the same basic flight as the isle, if not a bit better since they are faster and don't have the atrocious stam. I'd take the isle as a game over those two on most days, but still.
@@gabrielkanka I think it's all species. That's crazy you can stop it by removing yourself from the others tho. Have you tested to see if it's all dinos or just the same ones?
@@chancecoleman1482 I was getting the audio bug as a dibble near a croc and herra team, and moving away from them restored some of my audio. I still got the error eventually, but I got a chance to hide before I was disconnected.
You mentioned that you drank enough salt water for the mutation to activate but (I'm assuming) you didn't have a mutation slot for it just yet. How much salt water did you drink? Does it matter how many times you throw up?
I tried to get the saltwater mutation and screwed it up, so now I have a bird who is constantly thirsty and only has two mutations. I somehow totally missed the opportunity for the first mutation. Oh well. The other thing I've been trying is giving it the mutations that increase damage, to make a "war bird." So far so good. Going to keep trying different things.
You can get rid of the "fluid deficient" debuff by drinking more saltwater until it disappears! Even if you can't get the mutation, you can at least fix the thirst issue :)
can basically live in the islands as biepi... they really should either remove all the portions of the map like this or add food/ai spawns in these places
Beipi got a buff to its swimming stamina along with the nerf to its surface swim speed. It feels much nicer in the hordetest than it used to, but I sure miss Spiro's version...
@@gabrielkanka Seems like on step forward and one step back then because idk why a surface swim speed nerf was warranted. But yeah the spiro version of beipi was extremely fun
I love diablo so far! Lots of options in combat. It even got a health increase with the last patch-- I don't think it was necessary, but I'll gladly take it!
You can actually catch frogs in water by left-click attack, the timing is key, strike like 1 sec ahead of time. I managed to do it last night in this starving simulator, sadly I died from hunger just as I was about to land and eat it.
