Hi Everyone. Discover the Beauty of Music! MORE INFO: I began studying piano at an early age. With the encouragement of my Parents, I began to study piano with the late Donald Williams who held a doctorate in music performance from the Univesity of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Later in Washtenaw Community College, I studied music theory and played Guitar and Percussion in the jazz band under the direction of Morris Lawrence. At age 57, I retired and began composing music.
Very affectionate and handsome, dear Ronald! A curiosity: in your composition process you usually explore first on the instrument and then move on to paper, do you usually compose by writing first?
I do both ways. Sometimes I start writing and let the song develop itself, Other times I'm just fooling around on the piano and an Idea comes to me and I say "I got to write that down".
Dear Ronald, a lovely Friday greetings to you and good afternoon from me. Very beautiful composition Ron, I'm enjoying it here. I wish you lovely day and a wonderful upcoming weekend 🙏💖😊
@@RonaldKarle Nowhere does it say he recorded Claire de lune. Quite the opposite, the front album lists all the pieces he recorded and Claire de lune is missing.
eautiful performance by our friend Cristina! She's a talented pianist! I really enjoyed it! Thank you, dear Ron, for suggesting this small but beautiful blues piece!
Interesting performance but I don't think this is Debussy playing- I used to own a cd of piano roll performances of Debussy pieces and as I recall this one was by a different early 20th century pianist and not the man himself
@@RonaldKarle I feel they all have your signature on them from early on. That is good thing. I remember having to identify a composer by listening to a small portion of a lesser known work by them in one of my university classes for a test. You can certainly detect some composers by certain characteristics and I believe I could identify yours, Ron.
Oh ist das schöööön, so, so wonderful and fantastic and calm. Thank you so much my dear friend Ronald... Dear morning greetings from Switzerland, your friend Hans-Peter
Hello Ronald!! I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for highlighting my work at your beautiful channel and for the great things you say about me. I miss being creative so much!! I have traveled a lot over the past year, working a lot and trying to figure out how to make my hands function better....nasty bouts of hand arthritis 😢 I am playing though and starting some new medicine. Thanks again for everything!! 😊 ~Jackie
