I think paradox should add a feature where once all of the core territory has been taken the uncore should become independent And if ability to see troops in a frontline how many people are fighting in the frontline these features will make the game fun

@@GamingThroughHistory2 Better to just build lvl 6 forts at the Belgian border and level 5 forts in the south. I've noticed the AI doesn't usually like to attack well manned forts above level 5 and the mountains at the Italian border are perfect to create a massive meat grinder.
You can have conquered territory, but you cant use all its factories and manpower, only a percentage. If uts your core province you use it 100%, so its an important bonus
Another important aspect of coring is that in HOI4, a country surrenders when 95% of the victory points of their core territory are occupied by other countries. For France, it's not 95% but 50%, so having more core territories that can't be easily captured by Germany may counter this debuff
