Completely forgot there are actually 2 sneaky gold in infiltration system. Could feel the nerves 2nd hand. Grats on pulling it all together :moleSwole:
@@fate7186 No mines is possible if you head straight for the switch. I believe combining it with all gold is theoretically possible but no one's done it.
Well done, player. And smooth platforming! I've never played this game trying to get all the gold in each level, since some make it an absolute pain to do so. Sometimes intentionally. There were a lot of close moments that nearly had you, but you kept your composure and pulled it off. And, 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 F for not recording the first time you did this. I don't think I've ever had a blunder like that before, but this is somewhat close: Completing R.Type Final 2 on the hardest difficulty without firing. But throughout the entire run, 𝘮𝘺 𝘷𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘰 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘥, 𝙨𝙤 𝙄 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙄 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜.
Heya, glad you enjoyed the video! Regarding the recording, I'll often neglect to record my live playthrough in favour of recording the highscore replay. Unfortunately, my first successful run of this was slower than one of my runs containing a death, which meant no replay was saved. Rest assured, a big part of this repeat was pulling it off live and doing it faster than that old highscore, haha.
Patrician music taste. Also, holy heck this is impressive, I never quite got how N is supposed to be controlled, yet you make it seem almost effortless. Knowing how it must feel, I can't help but be impressed at your fluidity.
SU-X-19-04 is not as hard as people give it credit for. The first 28 seconds are consistent, cutting enough difficulty from the run that you can just throw attempts at the wall until something sticks. nice philosophy there ...
Hardly a philosophy, just my take on the level. The difficulty in robot heaven stems from the chaser drones rapidly making the level unpredictable, so nabbing some of the hardest gold while things are within your control makes the level a lot more manageable. Best not to apply one philosophy to every level, other than "just keep trying, buckeroo"
Thanks for this. I was trying to complete my all gold on all normal Ultimate levels, and for some reason I thought that all those switches for the trap doors were required for a normal clear. Turns out the level is much simpler. Also, nice strat at the beginning to remove the need for a pressure-filled perp at the very end. I stole that too
