It's very pretty but yellow gold isnt a good choice with a stone that size gold is too soft those prongs will bend sooner than later.I think a platinum prongs and the band in yellow gold would be better.
My ring is considered chunky. It’s a 4.7 mm yellow gold band graduated down to 2.5mm with a 3.60 ct antique cushion. Most solitaires are on thinner bands but I didn’t like the look of a skinny band. I like ‘em thick and chunky!
