Hello friend ! As always, beautiful video! Friend, I'm in doubt between this chassis, the At1s and the Xq3s, both from xpress, which of the two would you recommend?
The Tamiya entry level kits always have slop. My thought that Tamiya forces you to tinker and figure a way to eliminate the slop/play using shims and buy their Hop-Ups. Gotta love Tamiya 😁🤙🏽
Seems Serpent rebranded a generic car to make some quick cash… Unfortunately many brands have done this over the past few years, but it rarely ever works out well as those products usually get discontinued within a few months…
I satisfied overall. But need replacement required for kit included wheel/tire. Because of bad balance... And suspension movements are not smooth. Need sanding for arms.
@@gilded_funsThank you, I can't wait to see what it does on the circuit against its more expensive competitors. for the tires it will be grp as usual.
No idea what Tamiya was smoking when they decided to make this thing. This still has the flawed steering from the stock TT02 and the cheap chassis. And plastic shocks on such an expensive model? I mean, I do like Tamiya plastic shocks for low and mid grade RCs, but at above 200€ I start expecting their aluminium shocks. The TA08 is cheaper, has more features and is better build overall; whats the point of the SRX?! Cant believe they replaced the TB series with this...
Verry intresting, but i am confused by the display of the scale. In ff config it shows the left side heavier with 54% eaven though the right side is heavier if you sum up the weights of right front and right rear vs left front left rear. How is that possible? anyway, the weight distributions front to rear are intresting and weight distribution wise the car looks great front to rear, but it has so much slop in the setup that i doubt it will drive nicely. Also the left/right weight distribution looks mot as good as the front/rear totals are.
'Left side' you mentioned(54%) is FL+RR, not FL+RL. It's cross weight. 🙂 I didn't drive all each layout yet, I proper MR layout most(simple structure, ideal weight distribution). FF layout's front weight is little bit light compared with other FF cars, and I don't like battery position of FR layout. It's too high. But I think this car's various layout, setup is very interesting.
can you make a comparison between the cero sport 55 and the xpress xq3s? also on the level of assembly play excesses on the components and robustness of the arms in case of accident etc...

Hello. Thanks nice comparison in the product. Would like to also ask if I can combine 22049(srx diff) for the rear diff and 54875(tt02 v1 diff version) for the front. since im pretty concerned of the bevel gear combinations for the drive shaft it might cause problems or mismatch gearing while I run it? Being that 39T bevel specific at the rear and at the front normal none 39T specific bevel gear, thats the one that came with the 54875(tt01 oil diff v1). Hope you can verify my concern and if I can run it normally like that setup. Thanks
What do you think of this car compared to 3racing cero sport? No discussion on the web so far. XQ3s doesn't have active rear suspension and ball mounted suspension? Thanks for the video!
XQ3S also have active rear suspension. You can add some spacer to rear toe rod mount and adjust it. Both 3Racing cero sport and XQ3S are good for beginners I think. :)
