I tried the purifier and I couldn't finish a helldive with it. Was painful to use compared to the punisher plasma. The charge time is not optimal for bots being able to shoot you and knock your aim
That sounds right. I think the Purifier's main benefit right now is it's ammo efficiency and it's stagger. Many agree with you the Punisher Plasma does it better though. Definitely feel your pain with bots throwing your aim off. Thank you for taking the time to comment!
@PhacilGaming Was very impressed you managed to beat it! Hopefully, the buff the purifier damage because if it's a charge shot it should do more than non charge plasma weapons IMO.

I think i might get back into helldivers again after watching this :) P.S. you can think of the hellbomb's hitbox as being an upward cone, with the center roughly on the hellbomb, which is why its usually easy to get away from, and gets buildings from further away when it's below them
Thank you so much! I don't know actually, it definitely should considering it's armor penetration. I normally bring a more consistent answer to Hulks though. If it does kill Hulks my guess is it will take >8 shots to go through the HP. TL;DR I don't know, will definitely test! Does anyone reading this know for certain? My favourite weapon for this would be the adjudicator. It still two-shots devastator heads like the diligence, but it has a better scope, higher firerate and medium armor pen. I would recommend using it with anti-recoil armor, so you can go prone and fire in two-three shot bursts when sniping, wich gives you pretty consistent headshots up until ~100 meters. Though the best thing about it is the versitility. It's an assault rifle AND a marksman rifle. So, when in close combat, you can focus on devastator legs, 1/3 of the mag kills them there (wich, considering the low mag size, is really fast). Basically, it's a diligence, a liberator penetrator and a jar-5 combined. Try it, I bet you won't use any other weapon.

Awesome! You can 100% without having an answer to Gunships. They just force your hand by making you stealth until they lose sight of you. So, annoying but not game breaking luckily. Good luck have fun!

I get overwhelmed by bugs relying on this weapon. Just use primary instead, and some proper heavy support weapon will make quicker work of medium and large enemies.
I agree. I think the Arc Thrower has a place in teamplay though, where you can rely on teammates to handle the bigger enemies. As long as everyone is having fun ofcourse 👍
Something interesting about the DCS’s dynamic with its base model counterpart is that it could actually always one shot devastator heads even when it had 128 damage due to its class 3 penetration, but it could only do it closer than 20m due to damage falloff. Personally, I would like to see the Diligence gain that ability so it could outcompete the DCS in CQC, but not at range. Giving the Diligence class 3 penetration might be a little broken, but I feel like the Diligence feels a bit too weak atm and a pen buff would solve that.
Oh that's really good info! Didn't know that, I agree that it's kind of lost it's place (the regular Diligence). Not sure how to give it a spot again though, I suppose a pen. buff would be the place to start!
It only takes 2-3 grenade pistol shots to kill an annihilator tower if you need to take one out. It's not always worth it, but when you had the double tower with the two fabs, I would have killed the one you were under as you had the resupply to refill your shots and then you'd only need to hope one tower missed you on your retreat. Getting ragdolled by one tower can sometimes guarantee the other kills you, so I try to take out at least one in those situations.

In order to avoid confirmation bias, don't bother looking for evidence. At least for things that are subjective or hard to prove If you 100% feel like something is correct, you are often correct. Your brain is a finely tuned super computer designed through millions of years of evolution. You can be correct at something hard to explain, and not know why you are correct. Most of the time when you are wrong, the thing you are thinking about was specifically designed by someone to be confusing.
Oof, I don't know if I can agree here. I'll believe our instinct is often right like you mentioned, I do unfortunately think that our mind doesn't like it when we're disappointed so it may unconsciously lead us to believe things that aren't right. I do enjoy your positive mentality though! And I kind of hope you're right. I believe a channel called Veritasium has a good episode on this as well. He describes the best route to achieving correct information being: when you believe something, try to disprove it instead of proving it. If you cannot disprove it then it must be right. This bypasses our bias which is partially present by our mind's will to keep us content. Thank you for your insight!
I believe I got it in the Super credit store rotation. Unfortunately that means you simply have to wait for it to become available again (it cycles every 2 days I believe). Not confident though I apologize! Arguably the Trailblazer Scout (stealth promoting armor) is a better armor, which you can get in the regular warbond if that helps you any 🙏
I have a short video I'm working on describing how to (relatively easily) dodge their stuff. Then it's just a matter of Hellbombing their fabricator and hiding so they fly away. Not the most efficient strategy, but effective enough. Obviously the smart route is to just have an answer to them 🙏
@@PhacilGamingthanks. The autocannon might be the best option, since it can destroy fabricators. But I think a grenade launcher and guard-dog-liberator could also work. Or even the rail gun for heavy units and something like the precision strike for fabricators. I know the guard dog can pop devestator heads from 20 meters.

What a great channel, expert skills and knowledge, unique tactics/loadouts, great commentary, calm and positive vibes. Also interesting to watch because I have a habit of defaulting to aggressive rush-in tactics in most games I play, so automatons have been a struggle for me. Id love to see how you handle the opposite of this, no primary/support and only secondary/nades/strategems.

hmm i tried it and i tend to disagree, this gun basically has similar mechanics to Railgun but very little damage, my personal primary is Punisher Plasma, i can wipe out a drop in seconds with it, it has same stagger but way faster fire rate, as of now this is the only primary i can solo hell dive with and get 5 stars, it can handle anything other than hulk.
The Railgun comparison is pretty accurate I'd say, as is the PPunisher one. How do you feel the ammo economy is for the PPunisher in comparison to the Purifier (which realistically only matters in a squad ofcourse)?
Fantastic run. I learned a lot, thanks! As an ER Nurse who’s also seen a lot of things including death, I’d only argue that fun/happiness is easily not #1 life priority always. It’s a nice thing to say, but in reality pursuit of these is often selfish. Duty and loyalty such as to one’s family (or perhaps even Democracy 😂) frequently trump one’s personal happiness/enjoyment, as well they should.

To be fair, easy and hard are subjective terms and true by definition of it's user. So I don't know if we're ever gonna have a game where literally everyone agrees that it's, easy, hard or anything in between. Thank you for the compliment though! 🫡🙏
New Subscriber here. Love your philosophy and I can tell that you've seen death before, I do believe you. Just hope youre okay and have someone you can decompress to when you need to. Honestly reminds me of Robin Williams. He spread so much happiness and laughter but himself was deeply depressed and hopeless. Hope that youre good out there in the wild green yonder.
