i dont know how i hadnt found this video series until this morning. im so happy to see it because im starting to "restore" my 2001 model, which ive been riding for just under a week but slowly starting to fix little things here and there. i love fixing things, and i dont mind putting my time into MY own things. i take a lot of pride in taking a $1900 bike and making it worth a bit more and something i can fully trust to take on a longer ride. if for any reason i have to sell it in the future, i can show all the things ive done to it and it should sell no problem. so far other than my DRZ, this is my new favorite bike. everything else ive had before it hurts my back to ride, and theres a good amount of body protection from the wind so i dont cold so quickly.
Curious about the end result and first ride, what the best generation VFR is seems quite personal, for example: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-X3lyolEqtYI.html As a possible successor to my VFR 750 1995 I have already test driven the 800 FI, 800 VTEC and 1200, the 1200 was disappointing, very heavy and disappointing torque below 5500 rpm, still good in the corners and a nice appearance to my taste but the next VFR will be an 800 FI or VTEC.
The only reason HD made it back to profitability is because their senior leadership went to Japan to learn JIT/Lean/Toyota manufacturing. The tariff did nothing for them. Also, the RC30 won the first two World Superbike Championships.
Honda make a bike and limit it to 80-90% of it's potential, making it more reliable When it comes to actually riding, Kawasaki are the best bike brand by a big margin for a long time now
954 would just cream a rc 51 on the track both being stock,The mill for a RC51 would cost nearly twice what the inline four would to manufacture and of course is amazing engine on both really.
Great video. I've been thinking about getting a bike after not having one for many years but was worried about this since i live in NYC. this chilled me out so I'm more open to it now.
Hi Danny I'm Nino from italy, I contact you for ask back covet seat of hinfa cbr1100xx where I can find for buy. If you have some link or information I'm very happy. Thank much.
These older bikes from the mid 2000s are gems. They weren't about Max hp, they had lower redlines, longer stroke motors, more torque, usable power throughout the revs and they are very light. Most of all they don't have the electronics packages that all the new bikes seem to have and these old bikes don't really need it as they are quite manageable in the right hands.
Still have the 14R.. or have you been casually arrested? 😂 They didn't because they didn't need to, but imagen if they made a Zx-15R.. And did it with the intake and Supercharger system from H2R on it as standard- just try to imagen that! 😱😁
I am so happy that I have bought a 1999 fifth gen 3 weeks ago. Best modern classics I have ever owned. Love the power delivery, the sound of the gear driven cams and of course that exhaust note! I bought it from the first owner who also happened to be the owner of the bike shop where I bought it, so it has been cared for very well and it shows.
I had a 25 anniversary vfr 800 ,smooth motor but heavy and heavy to steer not enough torque or power for me but guys like Freddy Spencer can ride the snot out of one...
Kawasaki H1 500cc 3-cyl. 2-stroke production racer; a bike for very brave men. The frame might as well have had a hinge in the middle for all it's rigidity. Even the street versions were nicknamed 'widowmakers'
Definitely love my 2020 sv650 for everything it is and it surely accomplishes everything it tries to be. My only concern with it is the suspension. The back feels fine with the rear shock Fully extended but still a little bouncy. But the front forks are so bouncy. There is so much travel and over bumps is giving me a huge rubber band effect where it takes a lot of time to stabilize. I wouldn't feel comfortable bringing the stock sv to the track
Hello! Can I use some sequences from this clip in my next video compilation? Of course you will get credit in the video and in the description. Thanks!
Where I'm moving to is hot and I plan to have only a bike as my means of transportation. So the fuel range and comfort is a no brainer. It's between this and the new Shadow. Shadow is comfy and the new one looks awesome bit that 500 has the range and bit of sportiness that I want. Not a fan of the rebel
Those vfr bikes are like a mix of an r1, Ducati and bmw , sound amazing 🤩 iv heard people say they are heavy but I'd love one. Seen a beautiful purple/ blue one with gold wheels before and fell in love with them
