You can indeed. As long as your friend has an empty plot available for them to move into, and you have the villager in boxes, all your friend needs to do is come over to your island and speak to the villager until they get an option to ask them to move to your island. The villager will also remember being on your island too when they have moved to your friend’s island! So, if you ever want to visit them on your friend’s island, you can go over and say hello to the villager and get some special dialogue from them 😊
You can make a transparent custom code using the very last colour when you design a custom code (the one with all the lines). Place this around the flowers so that they don’t spread out from a contained area. The alternative, if you want something a bit more visible is to use either the stone paths to go around the area.
I'm so sorry! Sometimes things come to an end and sadly, Pocket Camp is going to change. We know a few more details which have been shared on Nintendo's official site but we won't know what the new app looks like until next month
I have sabotages on my streams so my chat can make me do random things. I panicked that someone was going to take away my shovel for a bit so I couldn't decorate.
I’m sure it will be out sooner than people think. People have to realize that the system difference with 3ds and the Switch was huge so that is likely why it took a long time to come out. The Switch 2, is likely going to keep similar style/type of hardware to the regular switch but more advanced. And they also have New Horizons to base off of now so that’s another factor into why it won’t take as long as NH did .
These are really good points. From what we've heard, the Switch 2 looks like it will be a more powerful version of what we already have, but until we hear more information, we will just have to wait and hope that we get a new game sooner rather than later.
I'm sure we'll get a new AC for the new console, but I'm not holding my breath for AC in the first year for the new console. 🫣 While I hate the thought of 2027, i think it's the most likely time, just judging by NL&NH timelines. I don't think the next AC game will sell like NH, however.
I totally understand that. For the longest time, I did believe that 2027 would be the most likely if we got the console in 2025. However, I'm not sure now if Nintendo will wait that long again. We'll just have to wait and see. I agree that I don't think the next game will sell as well, but Nintendo is going to keep in mind just how many more copies they sold this time versus the previous title and I do think there will be changes made in the Animal Crossing launch cycle as a result.
@TwilightFairyx I want to believe it'll come out sooner rather than later 😭 I've been a huge fan since the gamecube days, so it really is nice to see how big the games have become, even if NH isn't exactly my favorite installment. I'm excited to see what they include in the new game from previous ones, and of course the new mechanics/items. ☺️
Haha Little Tiger! It would probably make me scree the loudest screes in the world and then I would be mopping a Twilight puddle off the floor from all the tears that would be coming out of me 😂
Whenever the next Animal Crossing game comes out, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. Still, hopefully you'll be right with your thoughts, Twilight. I can't seem to enjoy New Horizons anymore, and it might not be long until I'm on the verge of giving up on it all together, so the next game could be helpful for me in a sense. Anyway, for now, we'll just have to wait and see when the next game will release, and what it'll bring.
I find it fairly annoying that they announce a shutdown but still allow people to make purchases prior and are also adding new content before its end. I feel like the new game is going to be similar to hello kitty island adventure as that has become very popular and just got added to the switch. I’d be chapped if it was a direct copy of pocket camp with no online or purchases because that’d mean no content and almost no point in playing it
Totally can understand. It is frustrating when companies do say "we're going to close, but you can still buy things from us until we close." Sadly, that is just the nature of business. I can see it being similar to Hello Kitty as well. Guess we just have to wait until the next update from Nintendo to find out if there is going to be a difference in the apps
I really hope we get something of news this year. And i really don't want to wait for a new game for a long time after the new console came out. But as you've said, i'd rather wait a little bit longer to have a fairly finished game. Hopefully we get more events too, things to look forward to in the gameplay itself. And as always... Please nintendo give us lemons. I'm not too proud to beg for lemons
Honestly, given some of the hints, I really think something is coming soon. But I doubt a 2027 release is going to happen. It would be too long for Nintendo to wait and I haven't heard of any big leaks for other Nintendo games for the next console so I think we can assume something is coming soon, but until Nintendo confirms anything - we know nothing! And yes, we need more fruit trees in the game. I want to see durians again. ❤️
I got acpc to get the items in acnh but ended up loving it! I’ve never spent a cent on it because I think micro-transactions are exploitative. I’ve heard many people who seemed shocked in a bad way by this even though most mobile games would close with no way to bring anything forward to the next game, if there even was one. Often with less notice too. This is being done much better than usual! While I am sad to see pocket camp end, given the temporary nature of mobile games it was actually a very happy surprise to see that I’ll get to transfer my save to a new version!!! I do hope it’s not expensive because acpc can be played for free and there’s a big price barrier to the mainline games. I also hope it’s a lesson learnt for anyone who’s sunk a lot of money into the game, it can become an addiction and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone
100% agreed. So many people put so much into Pocket Camp that I can 100% see why so many people are unhappy with the decision. We can but hope that the new app won't be super expensive and I honestly doubt it would be. Given we know that ACPC attracts a younger audience, I would hope that the next app will be fairly accessible for all players but we won't find any more details out until next month so all we can do is hope for the best.
@@TwilightFairyx Definitely! I feel really really bad for those people. You’re right that players are often younger which makes it worse that it’s an addictive payment system, it’s also why I’m more frustrated by some older people talking about it in a catastrophic way. Whatever else happens I’m glad the payment’s changing!
You need to have your first campsite villager move in before you will get island evaluations. If it's someone you don't want, you have no choice. You have to take them in, but you can kick them out later and replace them with someone else.
Unfortunately this is purely an L for me. I already can't afford online for my switch, so I probably won't be able to pay for the paid version of my pocket camp. As for the next game, on a new console that I already know I won't be able to pay for either, it's not looking good. Sad but I guess there's more important things in life.
I'm so glad you managed to get everything you need! I'm so sorry that you discovered this after you had done all of that! Hopefully the next time you go looking for items, you can find them a lot easier!
I haven’t played Pocket Camp myself, but my sister was a big fan before New Horizons came out! So I appreciate the detailed explanation about what Pocket Camp was💖
Aww thank you so much Lemon! I hope your sister is okay with the news and if she is still playing that she will enjoy whatever the new version will become. ❤️
It's known, that they're different teams working on ACPC and the console mainline games... so it has nothing to do with the mainline games, though. I played every Animal Crossing game ever since the GameCube and I love them all. I played Pocket Camp also ever since its release every single day and I'm level 494 ingame. I never bought any Leaf Tickets. The game is very enjoyable without spending money on it. I am incredibly sad, it's going to shut down the way we know it. But I'm excited for the news in October regarding the offline version of ACPC.
It's definitely going to be interesting to see what the next mobile version is going to look like. At least we know that the online component is going to be taken out of it.
To me that game was really important. Even if I’m not playing anymore and haven’t for a the last year, it’s what really made me love AC. It was my first time playing with anything AC related, cause I never had a Nintendo console (even if as a kid I asked sooo many times 😂). I played for a year everyday, met great friends all around the world, until saving enough money to finally get a switch, my first ever console that was actually mine and from Nintendo. I’m sad that it’s gonna stop working, but at the same time I stopped playing because I hated paying all the money I did, and turned to ACNH as soon as I could. Idk if I’ll play with the new possible mobile iteration, but I’ll check the news cause I’m so curious and can’t wait to see what’s going to happen! And I can’t wait for the new console too, I’m glad I’m gonna be able to experience it with everybody else this time around and it’s honestly exciting to look forward to 💕
I love that as a back story on how you got into AC in the first place. I'm so glad that Pocket Camp gave you an opening to discover the Animal Crossing world and you've enjoyed playing the game. Even if you stopped playing Pocket Camp, it still was an important part of your life and I'm so glad you were able to find happiness in Animal Crossing ❤️
back before i got my own nintendo, right before the pandemic started i played pocket camp endlessly. looking at it makes me crazy with nostalgia , its a bit strange to see how i can feel so nostalgic for a game that came out in 2017.
Aww! I love that you have a lot of fond memories with Pocket Camp. It's always nice when you can look back on a game you enjoyed and thinking good thoughts about it.
Pocket Camp is coming back by the way you have to pay for the app unknown price. The DLC is gone. Everything else is gone. Nintendo said by October they will announce more information on it.
I was never an Animal Crossing player, let alone Pocket Camp, but I'm sad for all you folks. Closure of big games like these is always really sad for the community involved. Though I honestly doubt that the theory is correct that this means more mainline content, such a correlation has never existed...except for Mario Kart, where the end of mobile content has ironically also meant the end of mainline content for now.
It is definitely sad that Pocket Camp is closing and I totally see your side as well. It could be that there will be no more mobile games but we will see how much comes out in the future.
I know! It's really sad! But, there is a good thing in all this. You will still have your save data on a new version. So, you won't have lost everything! 😊
Does your dream address save even if your Nintendo online membership runs out ( like ik I won’t be able to visit it without online but will it still be saved there if it runs out ) also does every single island save as a dream address like even if u restart. 5+ times
Your dream address is still saved online and it can be visited by others if your Nintendo switch online does run out and every island has a different dream address. So, if you have restarted multiple times and have deleted your previous island, the dream address will be completely new 😊
This is so helpful, thank you very much! I’ve been using treasure islands and they’re amazing but have the usual frustrations. I’ve been thinking about these bots but it’s a little intimidating. I’m wondering approximately how much it costs to join the pay ones and if it’s an ongoing charge? I’ve subscribed and will definitely check out your treasure island video and hopefully you’ll have more content on these bots. Thanks again, I really appreciate this helpful content
Aww thank you so much! I really appreciate it. The videos will be coming in the near future which will detail how the bots work in more detail. The costs vary depending on whether they are twitch subscriptions or RU-vid memberships and some may need Discord Nitro. Unfortunately, I can’t give an exact price because they vary so much. What I do know is that if you have Amazon Prime and you have it linked to your Twitch account, you could use a Twitch prime subscription on a service which is available to Twitch subscribers. As far as I know, it’s included with the cost of your Amazon Prime, but I’ve not bought a twitch subscription before.
I think i know the perfect area to try this. I just hope they don't take over my island like last time.... But roses are my favorite. Probably the gold kind
Ooh! I can't wait to hear about how it all goes for you Aria! Just keep some custom codes around the area you are flower breeding and they won't spread out of control. Good luck! 😊
I wanna join the berichan server cuz it seems rlly useful but all the staff have no dm or ask to dm, and I can't speak in any of the channels bc I don't have a phone nevermind a phone number- 😭
Oh no! I'm so sorry about that! I didn't realise that was something you needed. I don't know of any other services that are free, but maybe someone else will be able to recommend somewhere else that may be able to help you out
