Definitely a hyped shoe, but that wu symbol on the heel and tongue are dope. I’m not mad at Nike for re-releasing the shoe. That’s how it suppose to be. Make a shoe, then sell it. I’m from the era where you could go to the shoe store and if they had your size you could buy it. No resellers back then. Hopefully, Nike makes a good amount of this shoe everyone can cop. I was going to get those International Blue Nike Foamposite that drop 9-13-2024, but now I’m going to save my money for the Dunk Wu-Tang’s. They’re suppose to drop this month, but no set date announced yet.
I’m still debating on picking up the foams. I love that OG blue. And I miss those days too. Loved going in looking at a sneaker trying it on then buying it. Hope you are able to scoop the WuTangs.
They shocked drop the Wu Tang Dunks last night. I missed it. Now they are going for crazy resell prices. $580 - $765 for my size on FlightClub. I don’t think I’m going to be able to get a pair now. They release sometime in October, we’ll see.

Yeah I can see that and it will make the demand even higher. People won’t care about the 250.00 price tag if they hard to get. They will just be happy to get an exclusive sneaker.
2 reputable sources say it's 215 and 250. So one is wrong or 2versions.....one $250 some special packaging and other add ons, and also $215 is the regular pair high 85
I like the shoe and I considered buying it but for that price tag I may not buy it. I think they are selling it at that price because it’s as close to the original that Jordan had promoted in that iconic photo.
I 100% agree with you. And I don’t like how they take us as customers for granted that they can just throw that price tag on it and assume we would be ok with it. Keep in mind as time gets closer they may make it make sense but right now it doesn’t.
If the current High 85s were 220.00 or 225.00 and they jumped up an additional 20. Ok. Maybe I can see that but to jump up $50.00 in less than a year I don’t t see it.
I copped these the day they came out. I love em but honestly don't love all the yellow...i was expecting more orange but it is what it is. Still rocking em but I'll definitely cop the orange ones if they drop.

i was not born in the time wu tang started in but i love the group and honestly couldnt care less if they hype or not, i just want them shoes cause im a big fan of the group, the wu tang dunk is not heat really its not nothing special, and if they originally dropped today with a full drop and no real exclusive only 36 pairs i kinda doubt they would be so hyped up cause they just simple. The people who i think actually like the shoe is the wu tang fans who like the group and dont want the shoe cause they so exclusive. Idk just my thoughts on it

Hey man...liked your video. First thing: Love your idea of Yellow laces on these. It breaks up the black. Jordan 5 are probably my favourite reissues - along with the 3's, 6's, Mauybe fours but poor cheap thin plastic tongue on my Spike'eze. I have a few J5s and the Tongue is one of The Best all time. You are right again when you say plain black Tongue didn't work like my silver Raging Bills & Jade Horizon. A RED Jumpman on Black would've been dope W/ yellow laces, yeah?. These shoes have been the hardest to like out of my 14 pairs (I have too many Green). I am waiting for two pairs of J3s - Navy Georgetown & White Cardinal Reds. If my Ducks don't sell - the laces in Y will make them pop over all that black. Well done. PS - I'm thinking of Light NC blue laces on Navy Georgetown's - any thoughts? Peace, Mark

Appreciate you checking it out. I agree these are not great for standing shoes. Also overtime these move and collapse in. Great if money is a concern but not the best option.
