Hello it’s Glamstract here, thanks for clicking on my channel! I am a makeup enthusiastic, favourite makeup products and best knowledge are foundations. I hope you can find what you were looking for here.
is this the radiance foundation or the Mat version? I wasn't sure if they had reformulated this as the bottle looked different. thank you. Also the Sisley foundation tent perfection how does it compare? thank you x
Hey, this review is for the radiance foundation. They also have a matte. And yes they have changed packaging. The main difference I think between this and the Sisley one is that the Sisley is more matte and maybe a little more coverage compared to this Guerlain that I’ve reviewed here.
I just discovered your channel and love it, you describe very well and accurately the products. Just for curiosity I searched some reviews about this foundation, just to understand if I'm overrating this foundation, if it was just my perception or more people also love it as much as me. Really love Sisley products, and this foundation became my favourite. Respect shades, again I don't know if is just me, but find Sisley shades are a little different respect other brands, in the sense that in general I find they are a little bit darker. For example, first I purchased 1N ivory, and looks great as a summer foundation when I'm tanned, later i got 00W shell and looks perfect on me. In other brands a shade 1N look lighter. Anyway is not a problem when you know the product or if you buy in a store with the chance to try on different shades, but if someone wants to buy online that detail could make a difference.
@@ale4176 thank you Ale! I am with you, love Sisley products, but you’re right the shades are a little strange sometimes. But may I say not as strange as Tom Ford, almost 7 years working in this industry and I still can’t get the shade at Tom Ford right 🙈 is it just me or … I use 1N Sisley too and often they are just a touch deeper then my usual. But thank you for watching! 💛
Hi, between this foundation and the Vitalumier Aqua, which one would you recommend? I'm combo skin, and wanted to purchase one for everyday usage. I'm used to the Les beige tint, but the shade I have now is not for this time of the year so wanted to try another one. Thanks!!!
Hey, thanks for reaching out ! The Ultra Le Teint Velvet is a comfortable velvety matte foundation. While Vitalumiere Aqua being water base is also a veeeeery soft matte, dewy ish finish. Both are beautiful and perfect for everyday use, and based on your combo skin probably the ultra le teint velvet. But again both are good! Shade wise, probably get yourself shade matched at a Chanel counter just to be sure that you take home the right shade 😊 I hope this was helpful 👍🏻
It is my favorite foundation! Do you know others similar to it? I also think it is being discontinued. I couldn't find it anywhere in store in the United States last summer, and the Dior representatives at the Sephora counters didn't even know which product I was talking about. In Europe I cannot find it online anymore and now it is hard to find it in store. It is so sad...
Why am I crying when you said the foundation is saying after eight hours “please take me off” 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Thankyou for the laugh and such an informative video!
@@glamstract5692, there are 2 Parure Gold, one matte, the other radiant (for drier skin). Which one are you talking about? Please let us know. One thing bad about Guerlain foundations is that the colours are all too yellow/orange and oxydise like crazy. It seems that your complexion is very similar to mine, at least on the screen. I was matched with 2C at Selfridges. It is not rosy on the skin after 5 minutes, more neutral.
Totally with you on CT complexion products experience, but love her full fat lashes mascara and her lipsticks are perfect. By the way when I didn't like something they accepted the products no questions asked, even if you used them. Love your reviews! Subscribed.:)
Thank you for this review! I've got my first Dior eye palette thanks to your review a few years ago, and now I'm back again to hear what you have to say about these highlighters 🧡
My favourite foundation. After a few months my skin definitely was firmer. It plumps the skin like no other. Ik mix it with a drop of Double Wear to amplify the wear time. Thank you very much for your honoust review!
I have both products and they are really good. And the Givenchy prisme powder is fantastic too. (Have you tried the masque contour des yeux from Sisley? It might help concealer to last longer and stay smooth :) )
Thank you! I go for foundation first and then concealer. Unless I’m having a very dark under eye day, then I go with corrector first, then foundation and then concealer.
I personally feel that their cleansers and moisturizers are where I’ve really enjoyed and repurchased often. Their other products, I have the same thoughts and experiences as you do..
LOL I'm literally staring at your foundation collection (trying to figure out what you have) while your reviewing these products. I am so glad to hear your thoughts on these tacha products I've always thought they were a little overhyped. I appreciate your personal honest review. I always am a little suspicious when I can't find a single negative review on a product. Everything doesn't work for everyone. My favorite primer is Hourglass. My favorite powder is the By Terry. I'm super oily so I like the Hourglass Veil Setting Spray. Would love to see a video on your top 5 favorite foundations.
Hello, Glamstract. Thank you for review. I havn"t any products from Patrick Ta yet but I really want to try something. The Cream Foundation looks great on your skin. Do you think is it great for combination skin?
Thank you for your review. I have used the foundation years ago when it was considerabely cheaper. I was allergic to the sun filter in it so I gave it away. It looked obvious in daylight and found it not flattering at all... The concealer reminded me at TV paint stick from Kryolan. I think the product is a bit outdated... As it is a hybrid of make-up and skincare it should provide some benefits on firmness. Needless to say I haven't used it long enough to give my opinion on that. Great review!
My sister kindly gifted me the cushion version and it is really beautiful which is super annoying because it is so expensive. It lasts longer and better than the Louboutin foundation and I'm super oily skin type. I have to agree it wears beautifully as the day goes on. I would not repurchase unless it was $150 and under. It is nice and as a foundation hoarder I'm glad I've tried it but I wouldn't say it is totally worth the $250 price tag.
Great video! Now I know I won't be buying this foundation for a humid, sweaty techno club. :D One question: How come you don't apply any products to your chin area, where there's no beard?
Summer is approaching so I’m expecting Givenchy to come up with a bronzer, because that bronzer was all you need, but the blush gave you some lively glow….absolutely beautiful!!!! And I agree with you, bronzers should never be a limited edition !!!! Bronzing is almost all you need to get up and go….
