The effects may look silly. But I'll be god damned if I wouldn't admit that this films imagery isn't powerful. It's brilliant. It's absolutely brilliant. The dread this evokes is unmatched.
My grandad and dad used to watch Laurel and hardy in the 80s and now my dad and I still watched it after he introduced it to me when I was 4! Rest in Peace Oliver Norvell Hardy and Stanley Laurel ( or Norvell Hardy and Arthur Stanley Jefferson)❤❤❤❤
John Wayne was so brilliant on screen! With the driving force of Ford pushing him, Ford and Wayne made all of it worth the effort!!! I personally love John Wayne and his movies, especially ' True Grit, McClentock and the one he played in as 'York' with Marine O'HARA as the Captain's wife and their young son in the Army!!!, that was so good!, also with the Calvary Singers!!! I love some John Wayne! ❤❤.❤
That was my favorite movie when I was a kid and I saw it in a theater when I was 7...I saw it about 10 years after it was made...but it remains my favorite animation...

Thanks for the very well done informative video. I wonder???..... Back in the time of Healy and his Stooges there was an automobile company called Nash-Healy..... In the early 60's they became American Motors. (also known as AMC) I'm thinking possibly Nash did a little tongue in cheek play with the words by changing his name from Nash to Healy? Seems like something a comedian would do. Who knows? He may have even owned a Nash-Healy car which might have given him the idea for the stage name. Maybe I'll do a little research and see what I can find out.
The naked zombie has a tag hanging from her hand so she definitely came fresh from the morgue!!! & If you're wondering why most of the zombies aren't all super decayed its because they are freshly dead so they ain't going to look all rotted yet!!!! U gotta remember there's only been ppl coming back from the dead for a few hours not even a entire 24 hours yet so most of the zombies are just going to look sick with pale skin & dark circles around their eyes!!!! I think this is the most realistic Zombie film over all because nothing looks fake regardless of how old this film is !!!! This movie is a masterpiece & still holds up today because it takes place in the 60's when nobody new wtf a zombie even was because there was no zombie movies yet so all the reactions of the characters are everything we would all do in this situation if we didn't know wtf we were dealing with & that makes the idea of this film 100x more scary ❤
Actually Healy created the Stooges, and gave the boys their start. It's a shame his hard drinking drove Shemp to quit. But then again, we would never have gotten to see Curly as third Stooge.
That scrawny little Somalian scarecrow tells me he's the Captain, and two seconds later he's gasping out his last breaths with a broken neck. Five seconds after that he's in the ocean drowning.
What a treat to see Brett share her own insights and inspiration! Her work has inspired me for years now in my own storytelling. Something about her vision of the Fairy realm is so familiar: it's strange, sometimes confronting but comforting too. She is an immensely talented artist and fascinating person too! Thanks so much for sharing this video on youtube. Cheers, Kitty.
