the ticking sounds cauld be starter relay or starter motor

Are you saying that it doesn't necessarily depend on the battery charge?

@@domeippo4411it’s the starter motor that needs replacement. If there’s a ticking sound but it doesn’t crank means the relay is working - the starter motor is worn out. I have the same problem.
