Will I ever get it cleaned up? I have no idea. But I will be out there helping you learn DIY. Since I kinda do everything around the house, I thought I would share it with you. Fixtures, appliances, electrical, walls, and doors. So much stuff to fix. Hey, if you feel like you are just missing something in your house, or you just can't seem to feel good about your home, maybe you should watch my channel. I am not some super clean, dressed up, perfected and polished construction guy. I am just like you. I talk like you. I do things like you. I also make mistakes like you, and some of them are darn silly! But with all my faults, I learn stuff. Have you have grabbed that steaming bowl of soup from the microwave, burned yourself, then grabbed it again, only to burn yourself again. I did. Wow, am I dumb! Watch, like, share, and subscribe!

The 2nd amendment isn't just for Texas...
@TheWorldsDirtiestWorkshop
@TheWorldsDirtiestWorkshop День назад
@@tahwnikcufos Very true. But in Texas… the general policy for enforcement is… intruders are fair game. There was an old apartment video in Arlington where two guys tried to break in an apartment door. This video has gone viral on RU-vid. The father inside the house had a baby with him. He pulled out his pistol and began shooting back through the steel door. You can see the bullets bouncing off the far wall behind the bad guys. The police showed up. There was no investigation per se. No gun charges. They had the video. So to the police, the homeowner was well within his rights to protect his baby. The police would usually just say nice job, and do the paperwork and then go looking for the two guys. They got one of them in the first week. I have lived in so many other places. I can safely say that Texas police are extremely casual about guns being used to protect the homeowner and his family. I even have bullet holes in my walls in my man cave. Such is life. I agree with you about the constitution. But I have some reservations about police policies In other states when guns are in use. Police seem to go out of their way to press charges against anyone firing a gun. They often go for a reckless endangerment of the public charge even when the gun owner was clearly protecting himself. Say… in a convenience store robbery when the gun is fired through the glass of the store into the street. It is sad that it happens that way. Because in many other states, the police are simply punishing the person protecting himself or herself. Cheers!

Hi friend .. god job . I am looking this brand this rear Fender and brand of taillight.. thanks
@TheWorldsDirtiestWorkshop
@TheWorldsDirtiestWorkshop День назад
@@juangiraldo5663 The taillight you can match up. The fender, I am pretty sure, does not exist unless it is buried in the bargain bin in the back of some motorcycle parts store. This fender is clearly styled for the 80s and 90s. As you move into the 2000 and on model years, you usually find creases in them running the length. The creases make the fender a lot more strong. This fender has no under-cage. No frame. It is bolted in 5 places. Two on the sides… three on the frame arch. I had to cut two holes in it to fit the seat properly. And the corbin seat does not block dirt from getting into the air box. So. I gotta brush out my filter now and then… and tape off the air box gap inside the fender well. My point is, you’re going to have to wing it the way the previous owner did on this bike. Every fitment is different. You have to be extremely creative. And then you have to step back and look at it to make sure it looks good to you. The previous owner mounted the fender too high. Rear tip of the fender was actually about 1 inch higher. This made the tail of the bike look too tall. The fender did fit the Moto seat I had but does not fit the Corbin Seat. And this is when I had to remount it the way I did it today. The two side mount holes don’t work for the Corbin Seat. it leaves a gap under the back of the seat. So I had to cut two holes. I had to heat up the fender. I had to stretch it a bit. And then bolt it down tightly. How do you know things work? Go out and jump your bike for about four hours. Once you’ve gotten three or 4 feet in the air. Take it apart again and make sure it’s all in one piece. if nothing is cracked or ripped away, then you did a good job. You never just assemble a rear fender. You engineer it. Carefully install the wiring and position the turn signals. I got rid of the smoke turn signals that are very tiny. I replaced them with stalk breakaway turn signals. One has already broken away once. Check out my other videos and you’ll see the red and white tape. When something like this breaks, use a lot of superglue and epoxy. Make it better. Cheers.

The 2x4 is supposed to be built as a frame not stacked.
@TheWorldsDirtiestWorkshop
@TheWorldsDirtiestWorkshop 3 дня назад
@@danielsells292 Very true and good observation. If I used the thinner dried panels offered, I would not have built it this way. I was thinking of adding one more 2x4 to create a triangular frame. Then add a plywood cover for it to not add a lot of weight. It is on three hinges. The old doors, and I have four of them were all built using this stacked method. The torrents of rain and heavy winds eventually tore them apart and off their hinges. I hope to avoid this by using better quality wood, stain, glue, screws and my old engineering education. @@tahwnikcufos Thanks. Yes. With three super thick steel hinges with 2 inch deck screws, the weakest spots are the opposite corners. Top and bottom. The pressure-treated verticals are so strong that I’m pretty sure this gate is going to last about 20 years. This is a tinted stain. So it will protect the wood from the UV nicely. I have a trailer. I use pressure-treated lumber that is stained. The Texas Sun ate through the wood in about 15 years. Not termites. Just weathering. I noticed that the tree rings sometimes disintegrate. The wood simply evaporates along the line of the tree ring. Quite amazing. I just fill in the gap with some construction glue and the 2x6 is as good as new.

@@muddbear6410 Sorry to say that I get them the same way you do. When I am at a mall that is in decline, I always head to the discount shoe stores, or the Burlington Coat Factory or some other 2nd tier clothing store. So. This is any store that sells leftover merch. Eventually I will find a pair for about $20 to $30 usd. You can also check the Goodwill stores and Salvation Army in America. My prices are usually special deals even for discount merch. Which is 1/2 to 1/3 the price. Being in the Dallas metroplex, this is easy. I have three pairs now. Perfectly new. The lace loops are how I tell them apart. I have accidentally put two different shoes on and not noticed. Of course, the laces are all cut and melted. And I have custom arches in each shoe. My wife likes to hike so I keep them clean and ready. One pair is brown enough to be used as an office shoe. They are tough enough for my motorcycles. Not exactly a touring shoe for motorcycles, but a decent around-town shoe.

I was hoping you'd show how to keep the chain from coming loose frequently. I was using mine and it got tangled on some fish line and when I opened it to fix the issue and replaced the chain, it comes loose as soon as I start cutting. I'm not sure if the chain rotating wheel is supposed to have a screw or not because mine doesn't, but I've seen some other models that do have a screw. For all I know, it could've fallen without me noticing, but even the owners manual don't mention it and the illustrations are horrible to be able to tell.
@TheWorldsDirtiestWorkshop
@TheWorldsDirtiestWorkshop 16 дней назад
@@Faithdced strangely I have a video tucked away about how to keep the chain tight. I never posted it. There is a very cheap locking mechanism that keeps everything tight. I did a video for the City Of Irving where I was using my chainsaw to try to cut a compound stump. A chainsaw kept giving up. I needed to use my black and decker loppers which is a chainsaw that looks like a pair of scissors. It has twice the guts of the Ryobi chainsaw. So to answer your question: yes there’s a mechanism that locks the chain in the place. It is underneath the guard. Yes it is very cheap. It is barely good enough. I have a lot more trust in the black and decker loppers. It looks like a giant pair of scissors where the chainsaw is on one side. The other blade holds the tree stump into place. It is like a hook. You bring the jaws of the scissors together. And the Black & Decker lopper will cut through anything up to about 8 inches wide. It is quite effective. The Ryobi chainsaw battery quits at about 3 inches. It just cannot handle wet sticky stumps. I suggest you write me on Facebook and then I will pull my chainsaw out and take a look at it and post a picture of it. I am Rider of the Storm. I do not look at the Christopher thunder profile anymore because it is just incredibly busy. Leave me a note on Rider of the Storm. Just reply to one of the posts. I’ll do what I can.

How does saving a file to your internal system drive, copying the file to another storage device, then deleting the copy on your system drive? Very few people keep a computer long enough to concern themselves with parts wearing out before they replace their system.
@TheWorldsDirtiestWorkshop
@TheWorldsDirtiestWorkshop 19 дней назад
@@xnetpc I am thinking ahead. Most people these days fuss about groceries. You might not be aware. But a degreed nurse can’t make ends meet. One step down from a Doctor. If they can’t make ends meet, then who can? So people will be holding onto their computers longer. We have more than 5 active computers in my household. Many older Macs have a thumbnail chip soldered to the motherboard… this is your 500gb drive. When it goes… or a Capacitor nearby, the whole thing goes… and it is not fixable. So you need to keep things cool. Use things less on the motherboard. With my YouTubing… I move the giant files off the cloud. I have no choice. The download destination IS the local drive. I immediately push those files to the USB drive. Why? It is fast enough and OFF the computer. And I have 3 backups. If the whole mess suffers a total loss, I can retrieve the data from somewhere. My software now goes to my remote disk for the largest data sets. And it is fast enough. No heavy read/writes to the local disk. It might be 30GB at a time on any given day. That is a lot. Then… 30GB x 2 for transfer, plus twice more for video processing. I would rather that extra 60GB done remotely if it is fast enough. Not on the local disk. When you RU-vid, HD, or 4K, you push a schnozload of data around. Where you put it matters. Especially when you are constantly pulling segments for re-use… like Battlestar Galactica flashbacks. This will help your PC live longer. And when it goes to PC graveyard, your data is in your pocket. Not in the data graveyard. I have a resume from 10 years ago. Family photos that are 50 years old. Wanna keep that stuff? Don’t put it on your local disk. Keep it on the cloud and on your detachable storage or NAS or like me, performance pocket drive. People tell me I am no idiot. In fact, I kinda think like a foresighted guru. People just don’t have money right now… and probably wont… even if they are wielding a $1000 phone that records in 4K. Wanna save your PC? Think about where you store your active data set and how you get to it. Can you move 4T from PC to laptop in 10 seconds? I can.

@TheWorldsDirtiestWorkshop
@TheWorldsDirtiestWorkshop 24 дня назад
@@stevef5956 I completely agree. It was shrinkflation but no, the wholesale price went up at the same time the bottle sizes went down. Now, I am not so concerned with this point 9 thing. It is exactly 0.499 liters. Okay. I get that. We are going metric in the USA from English. Sorry, but King Charles is going to have to sit on it as far as America is concerned. Believe it or not, in the old days, it was about crate fitment. Or what could fit on a shipping pallet. What I find annoying is the economic sensitivities of the world. Coke… is a luxury drink. Just as Pepsi is in… say Turkey or South East Asia. We should not concern ourselves with this. But water often tastes terrible out of a bottle. If you buy water from a vendor at the US capitol, you must be cautious. The bottle often does have a seal, but tastes like city tap water. They want $10 a bottle in a heat wave. And I am quite sure they are digging in the garbage not to recycle the bottles but to re-fill them. Then they buy the fake sealed caps from a crooked cap maker… and you just bought a $10 bottle of tap water in a dirty bottle. So I would rather buy coke or pepsi in Washington DC at the Capitol. When we went back to the vendor to tell him he was selling tap water in bottles, he became threatening. We recorded him and took pictures of his permit. And suddenly we got our $10 back. When we wrote to the city of DC, they said that they had a problem with fake water vendors. And we should be weary of any water we buy in the park. Really???
