You're sh--ing me right? State Street, that (once great) street and Michigan Avenue are sh--t holes. 1/2 of the stores closed during Covid and none have come back. Lightfoot started the downslide and Brandon Johnson has continued it. Bucket bongos, panhandlers, crazy people screaming, and thieves. That is Downtown now.
Detroit is a joke walking around downtown and its dead it's nothing here, If all your batteries died and backups you would have to leave downtown Detroit go outside the city just to get what you need because Detroit is 90 percent black so Taget, Walmart, etc etc will not open up just to spite us and just assume we all the same it's a joke.

One thing I will say, in a city the size of Detroit, no matter what time you shot this video, not enough foot traffic sustain what people want in a city like Detroit
Off Woodward is definitely a good look but East Detroit is still the best…close to the river…downtown, still doesn’t have a good feel..even with basically all professional teams within a few 1000 feet…it just lacks…but I got Love for The D! Always
