Y’know, as horrible as this was, it got me thinking about the Lost Souls in Doom 3. This is the first time we actually fight them, but we first see them at the beginning of the invasion, in a ghostly skull form turning people into Zombies, as demonstrated by Dr. Ishi. My personal theory is that the Lost Souls are responsible for zombifying Humans via possession, and the ones we fight are those that failed to possess a host. Perhaps this particular Lost Soul entered Theresa’s body in its incorporeal state, but was unable to make her a Zombie for whatever reason, forcing it to eject.
God this comment section is cringe as hell. The archvile was pretty hard in this game. Sure it wasn’t as annoying as the classic Dooms, and that’s what they were, annoying. Any monster that can hit you behind a wall and stun lock you is not enjoyable. Raise your hands up if you played Doom 3 on Nightmare, those with your hands up know the pain these damn archviles can be on this game.
I know all they talk about is how scary was the classic doom ones but this is a far more dangerous one and realistic monster SMH, and people are very cringe its damn annoying comparing two different types in the first place.
@Wiliraughshai well yea obviously look at the damn technology in the lore that's what i meant not the game play lol, obviously if u countered a real Demon or monster in the game it would ambush you not necessarily confront you.
@@thetest8777Dude, demons are not real. There's no telling how demon would behave. There's no realistic pattern to find or follow. There's no application for word realism in any context of this matter.
@Wiliraughshai really so ghosts, demons don't exist what are you smoking I like to know So possessed people don't exist tell if they don't, I go by videos and some seem to be legitimate not fake like most are?
The one thing I always hated about this game was the slow projectile speed. You basically had to be right in the enemy's face to land a shot if they were moving or you weren't using a sniper rifle. Probably the first thing I noticed about BF2 and the thing I appreciated most from moment to moment.
This was the first “adult” video game I ever owned as a kid (as in something not made for little kids), and seeing this brings back so many memories. I forgot about this map entirely.
It's a DLC map that was originally only available on Xbox Live, it's automatically included on the Xbox One digital version and Steam PC version now though. Sadly it never made it to the Playstation 2 version.
It was free with gold some time ago, not sure if it's on Game Pass, but the DLC comes automatically installed on both classic Battlefronts on the Xbox One and Series X/S.
@@AceLM92 It was for the XBOX version as DLC. "This map was originally included with the v1.2 patch for the original Star Wars: Battlefront on the PC and as DLC on Xbox. It was later featured in Star Wars: Battlefront II on all platforms." "This map was included in a free downloadable content pack for the Xbox version of Star Wars: Battlefront."
