Yerevan ofc have many urban problems, but it’s in fact very beautiful and unique city. You were showing only soviet ugly buildings, but there are quite a few, but still very beautiful old buildings in Yerevan too. (In Abovyan,Pushkin,Buzand and etc). Also unfortunately Yerevan’s old buildings were destroyed while Soviet rule and after it. But our 2nd biggest city Gyumri is all about old architecture with black stone mostly. Also Goris,Ashtarak and Dilijan have very interesting old urban architecture and styles.
Thanks for your comment! I totally agree that Yerevan is a pretty city that’s very unique. I just found it really fascinating to watch the remains of the Soviet rule. Thanks to your country and people for being such great hosts, I loved my visit there ☺️
@@philipp56 thank you for your words too! But the soviet stuff is hurting our feelings, cause all thise buildings are made on our old one’s demolition.
Isn’t the Caucasus the border between the two continents? Either way, it feels a lot more European, I completely agree, and I hope you can join the EU soon to make it “official” 😁
Stunning architecture! Those stonemasons, bricklayers, carpenters, roofers, glaziers, plumbers, et al - had amazing skills and talents. Beyond beautiful.
