This is kind of late, but I just wanted to leave a comment clarifying my position: I do believe that there is music with foul content that would be hard for any Christian to justify listening to. However, it is not the MUSIC ITSELF which is evil or harmful. Meaning, the notes, melodies, harmonies, rhythms, etc. There is certainly music out there with terrible lyrics that people should not listen to, but very often I see people defending a view which states that the *music itself* is intrinsically evil because it has terrible lyrics, or the artists are "promoting" evil values and ideas, or even because the music is often played in immoral contexts (night clubs, raves, concerts with drugs and alcohol). There is no such thing as an "evil genre" of music. There are Christians creating music in every genre. Anyway, I may have overstated my case on here in trying to combat the (shockingly widespread) idea that there are certain styles of music that Christians cannot listen to. My ultimate point is that, since the Church has not made any statements on which kind of music is (im)moral to listen to, it is a matter of prudence, and the most important thing is to pay attention and understand how music affects you spiritually, and NOT to hold all Catholics to the rules you apply to yourself.
I learned about Maximilian Kolbe when I was a young teen. The selflessness is something VERY rare in the world today. Him and St. Thérèse of Lisieux are 2 of my favorites.
Question: How do we handle Saint Hildegard von Bingen, staunch supporter of what she referred to crystals as “God’s precious stones” and emphasized their ability to connect individuals with the divine?

I’m saddened you felt the need to comment that such a loving, caring, brave person who felt compelled to be vulnerable and share his story is “trash.” I hope you are doing ok and something good happens to you today so you are reminded that you are loved, and life will be better soon. @0:33 Sir it's a tollywood film (telugu language film) which is dubbed in to other languages. All these years people assumed indian movies means only bollywood (hindi language movies), no it's not we also have other woods like tollywood (telugu), sandalwood (kannada language movies), kollywood (tamil language movies) etc..
