OCD does not equal having an eye for perfection or having a specific routine. being a perfectionist doesnt mean you have OCD. i dont know if you have a diagnosis or not, but the stereotype that people that have OCD are perfectionists is just kinda rude.
I've been fascinated by CRISPR Cas-9 since it's inception. I follow all the news I can get, and have read Code Breaker (which was more interesting and informative than I expected!) I'm excited to see it already restoring sight and correcting sickle cell. Thanks for this look into a lab.
I thought I saw a comment saying this but couldn’t find it. Could you PLEASE figure out the code sequence for the vaccine, then reverse it and fix us??? I’m in California. I’ll be knocking on your door soon. I was 49 when I took it. I’m 51 now. I had heart pain, dizziness, almost passing out and no more periods. Please fix us.
It is so nice that athletes get this kind of exposure. In my day, we toiled in total obscurity, where no one except us athletes and the coaches had the remotest clue of the effort that went into being an elite athlete. If we had had this kind of public exposure, I think the support would have been so much greater. Well done!!!
I wish some of the airport have this! Great for self insulation during covid as well. I would love to try this in my house with my small baby we need that sleep
I'm an insect nerd(especially into beetles) in Turkey and i really want to be an entomologist. I know the importance of insects in our environment and love everything about them. I love finding, collecting and identifying insects all summer long. Unfortunately, entomology basically doesn't exist here in Turkey and its just an extension of pest control jobs, while being very hard and expensive to get into. People look at me weird when i tell them i'm interested in insects. My family wants me to keep it as a hobby while i actually want to do it professionally. Sorry, i just came here to vent. I wish i was born in a different environment, where i could pursue my dreams, where my choices mattered. People, don't let bad situations stop you from pursuing your dreams. Don't be like me, unable to do anything, trapped in your room for hours to study. Make very good use of the opportunities given to you, and before life can trap you in its jaws like an antlion, run out of the hole and be free.
Founded by Marxists. Founders under investigation for fraud. Founders used donations to buy mansions in gated white communities. Not a single dollar of donations given to black "victims" of "injustice". Black and other minority business destroyed during BLM terrorism. You all must be very proud 👏
I volunteered in a few entomology collections and the one collection that was too difficult for me to do and was amazing was a drawer of blown/inflated caterpillars.
I want to be an Entomologist, the only thing that's still not quite easy for me is trying to get rid of the scare factor, like, if I know a bug is there, I'm not scared, but if I don't know, I get scared. Any ideas how to help with that?
I personally am going to try and get into Entomology and Zoology, and Taxidermy on normal animals would hurt my heart, but this would be not nearly as bad, but I will get these if it's like a common species or a friend got it for me, but, good job!
These people have no idea that they're actually talking about what hitler, mussolini, stalin and lenin did. These students want more government control.
Insects have always fascinated me. God's creations are truly amazing! I like to draw and paint them. I've started finding specimens that are ethically sourced, meaning they live out their natural lives and are not killed for the art. I prefer that.
Just google ethical taxidermy insects. The seller I bought mine The seller I buy from gets her specimens from an insect farm after the insects had lived out their lives and passed on naturally. Her shop is called Bugsnstitches on Etsy
