This has to be one of the worst videos Iv ever seen on chopping a frame. Listen up folks a Stick is terrible to begin with. Second of all of you’re welding a frame that’s not in a jig it can flex and move this is amateur hour DO NOT DO THIS
How do you get to this part ...what angle do you set the neck at for a 10-12-14 over springer front end ..and get the frame to ride level.... Is there a formula somewhere ..??
Haha I keep hearing about beads and dimes being stacked up but I'm pretty sure it's supposed to look like black bubblegum surrounded by 1½" of brown on all sides......
I know that this build is 10 years old, but can you tell me how much he stretched the maintube, added to the degree of the neck, and added to the down tubes . I know that this is an old build, but the information would be appreciated. Thanks
I can see due to the arrows on the face of the bead that he was traveling a bit to fast using the 7018 I’m guessing he used an 1/8 inch rod so he wasn’t trying to over heat the surface of the tubing. You can always use a smaller diameter rod, anyways great video 👍🏽
I did pink pig artwork on a pink soft tail, it won 2nd prize on the bike. But anyways the motor had two spark plugs on each head, what kind of motor was that?
One thing I would do differently, I would of did a diagram of the motor mount to the frame. That way metal color wouldn't of shown next to the black color on the motor...
With you there buddy, was thinking the same. I piece of cardboard cut out to the motor mount size would have given the area to strip paint. Shame about that.
