My cousin used to hang out with them in Portland when they’d play up there and one time he brought his friend and they were backstage partying and the beer was gone and Phil was like who’s got beer, and he looked at my cousin’s friend and he offered his to Phil and Phil said, naw man you look like you got the flu lmaoooo fucking hilarious
Anyone claiming Jack is heartless here, as he ironically sings his heart out next to someone he deeply cares for and made a lot of wonderful music with, just know you are terrible at reading social cues. Not trying to be mean, but the way he held her at the end and she put her hand on his arm shows how much they both deeply care for one another, and are bonded for life, even if apart. Also, humans show emotions in so many different ways, but even without giving that caveat, I felt like he was full of emotion here. Quite possibly the most emotional I have ever seen him.
Ben Harper must love "Indifference" he and Eddie sang this together a few times! Awesome performance thank you for sharing this awesome video 😊 🩷 🔥 🤘 ✌️
I love this version and it's one of the best, but it's not as good as the white stripes. Well maybe it is, I'd say it's tied. My top 5 fav performances of this song are: 1: Under Nova Scotian Lights 2: Bonnaroo 07 or Paris Canal 07. Either one 3: This 4: Argentina 2015 5: All of them This band rocks, so does Jack's current band, but the bond with him and Meg was something that cannot be replicated.
No one can touch this man’s talent or level of genius, literally a living legend that walks among us, yet still a down to earth intelligent human being. I pray that I will get the opportunity one day to shake his hand and thank him for all the music he has poured into my life and uploaded to my brain’s playlist “Songs that go with me when I cross over” - the only other person who has even come close to contributing as many songs to that list is Paul McCartney. My biggest dream come true would be to go camping for the weekend with the two of them and they both just happened to have brought their acoustic guitars, haha.
