Love the play by play ^_^ And yeah, this game seems to give the message to take the "Nip it in the bud" approach to problem solving, so I can imagine people who don't hit the pause button every now and again would have things cascading out of hand.
The game has reached a peak when it was published, than it will be overshadowed. I hesitate to play it after the Unity controversies. It look like a fun game to exploit its mechanics even if I understand the intention of the game. I wishes Beecarbonize will be even more than it is. If you don't know what the card means, you can check the information. Hold the token button is more effective.
I wanted to let you know that I'm watching this playthrough and that I'm thankful you're posting this series of videos! I've just started off and im a bit lost so this is a really nice resource to have :)
I've found that just talking to your villagers can get you memories as well without burning them out; just make sure you do all the talking before sundown!
Don't know if someone told you before but you can reread the books for memories on desks. Keeps your consider slot free and allows you to multi gather memories at the same time.
Thanks for catching that. Unfortunately I'm not sure what happened there and I don't have the original footage to check. I'll have to keep an ear out for it in the future. Sorry if it's tough to listen to.
Welcome. I do plan to return to the Mariner mod within the next few days. I left us on a bit of a cliff hanger to encourage myself to come back to it quickly.
Looks like I accidentally released episode 17 a day early. If you saw that, congrats on the sneak peak. If you didn't, don't worry, it'll be out in a day (after Episodes 15 and 16)
Thanks, glad you enjoy the playthrough. It's proving to be a fun challenge to explore the game and maintain a coherent sentence. I just recorded an episode where I recognised something from the setting and got to nerd out over it, and also found the beginnings of some of the mysteries of the library (The same episode where we reach Autumn if you're keeping an eye out for it)
Sorry that you were left trapped due to a bug, but Moby becoming one of the Supplicant Dead in the Innermost Glade seems like a fitting end. --DMwithoutPCs
Indeed, a captain leading his crew to their deaths, looking for wealth in a protected forest. He wasn't the first and surely won't be the last to learn that they weren't the chosen ones.
Thank you for your content. I am doing a play through myself and have gotten stuck at a few points. Your videos have helped a lot. This mod seems to be occult even to the cultist sim fan base. Those memory cards that turn into fascination or dread can be used with the pub card in the talk verb to get rid of them and turn them into fleeting reminiscence. Hopefully this helps if you didn't already know
@@brianpvr183 Hi, glad you're enjoying the videos and thanks for offering tips. My biggest piece of advice for the packages would be to keep a note of riddles you encounter and once you solve one who they go to. Other than that, I'd say to take a swing at them after you've eliminated some possibilities (For example the riddle "Not the one in Alexandria, though she wears the name well" had me stumped, but the fact they referenced them by "She" was enough to limit my options down to 2 people I have and whoever I don't have) If you're following along you may have caught that I eventually noticed that the more packages you have the harder it is to obtain more. So it's better not to hoard them.
@@TheRoanock yes slowly catching up. Still in finals for school rn but I will definitely give all your videos a deserved watch through once I’m finished. Thank you for the advice about packages. Definitely would not have figured it out myself
