This is our club layout that is outside at Entertrainment Junction. Unfortunately we will be taking the layout down later this year since the place is for sale and it's likely, unless a buyer comes in fast, that Entertrainment Junction will be shut down.
This layout isn't mine it belongs to rld hobbies. It has aluminum, brass, and I believe some stainless even. It's setup to run dead rail only so you either have to be battery power or live steam.
I still hope they find a buyer. If not i want to do another video with more of the details. This was a quick video, for I was holding Ryder walking through lol. Jawtooth did a really good video a few weeks back here on RU-vid that really highlighted the details of alot of things.
Thank you i uave wanted to do this for the past 5 months since he was born. I was hoping to make it to Robbys in tbe spring to do it on his layout but had a conflict with the date, so figured only makes sense that we do it where his gender reveal was at.
Robby has added in I think 4 new bridges that are 8+ ft long each. The layout also now has a dual track both way diamond added in. He has added I'm guess over 300 ft of track to his layout. If you ever get a chance to go to RLD Hobbies open house it's a blast. He allows anyone with battery or live steam trains to run on his layout.
If you go during their steam days and have a ticket to ride the train normally they will let customers checkout the cab and pull the whistle if you ask nicely.
Thank you very much. This layout has since been added onto an changed quite a bit. The owner of rldhobbies.com owns this layout he has 2 open houses a year if you ever want to check it out. Anyone can bring either battery remote control or live steam engines to run
I know I may never get a answer to this but is this guage 1? And if so, where did you find the chaingears and chains? Having issues finding parts for a project of mine.
Yes it is g scale. I bought this one already put together. I know it was at one point sold as a kit for the stand alone steam engine. The company I believe also sold tug boat kits for the engine. I will look to see if I can find more information for you
If you can't find the gears or chain you maybe able to take apart a old computer printer. We have build rc pulling sleds and the chain and gears inside the older ones are very close to the same size
Depends on the train in the video. My train was the B&O passenger train. It's not a cheap train especially since the 2 B units are custom made they where never in production. Others in this video can be bought fairly cheap especially if you buy used.
Thank you!!! Ya the loop I set up at the house it won't run on either hahaha. Good thing the club layout is only 25 minutes from home. I just hope Entertrainment Junction finds a buyer so that we don't have to take down our club layout and that they let's us keep our club club layout there
Price not stated ?. Absolutely gorgeous loco. Chinese packaging from this top end supplier to suppliers who just package with sealing wax and cross fingers. Baby knows you bought it for him. Thanks fellow train nut. Regards Dave
RLD Hobbies where this was bought from has it listed for $3,699.89 as of today. I am hoping to get a running video uploaded soon. The features are amazing like steam to the chaffing sound, steam out the whistle when it's blown, and cylinder steam.
1:32 scale? Looks really good! Shame they are prohibitively expensive. And yeah, love that trolling at 3:37... I hope he is still alive and hasn't been beaten with a train piece :-)
Most of these are 1:29 scale. There may be one train that 1:32 in the video. If you shop around you can find good deal on engines, i have bought modern diesels for under $100 which is less then most my n scale engines and cars for $5-20 before. Our local club has a train show at Entertrainment Junction 2 times a year I have had a table setup before full of used like new cars for $15 each it just takes time to find the good deals sometimes but they are out there And yes Jonathan is still alive he followed me all day trying to get that into a video. I thought I removed it all before posting but missed one. It just happens its in the video that has my most views 😆 😂 haha
Thank you very much. This layout is not mine it belongs to the owner if rld hobbies. He has a open house 2 times a years where a bunch of ys meet to run iur trains on his layout. The b&o passenger trains is mine in this video. If your into g scale trains he has some of the best prices.
G Scale trains can run in just about any weather. The track is made of brass, stainless steel, nickle, or aluminum so it can be left outside. If you look at some of my other videos I have some of them running in downpour rains and in snow
