I'm April and I'd like to thank you for stopping by to check out my RU-vid channel! What you can expect to find is lots of me fumbling over words and sharing a Junk Journal or two - all while trying to inspire and spark creativity within you!
So you want to know - why PinkOddbird?
The short and sweet answer is - I'm weird, different and quirky. The more refined answer is - black, pink and purple are my favorite colors but pink had zing to it. The latter part of the name "oddbird" is based on the definition of myself. Oddbird - strange, weirdo, oddball, misfit.
I am not weird in a weird way just in a quirky way. So rather than be "purpleweirdo" or "blackoddball" - I opted for PinkOddBird. I like to go off the beaten path and express my ideas the way I envision them which is - unique. So while you're here, I hope I can inspire you to be bold and outside of the box as well...because birds of a feather, craft together!

I think I need to make one for myself, but much simpler lol Just for everyday writing, it will be fun for the last 3 months of the year. I like to make my writing journals for 3 months at a time. Anyhoooooo…..I love it!!!

I would love for you to do a video on how you put this together. I've been working on a coffin shape that's just a little bigger and I'm finding it very difficult

I love this! I've hit my gothic vampire phase (inevitable because my mom did the same at my age) and this very much speaks to me. Its so beautiful and well made.

Wow! I started a coffin journal a few years ago. The shape was a challenge but came out neat! I ran out of mojo on it, but now i am inspired to finish. You are awesome my friend!
