@@simonomelb ; oh my lord!!! 🤣 I think I did about 20 appearances on the show that year. Best time of my life. Still in touch with Patti. Bert was a mentor for me. He was so good to me and I’ll never forget him. Thanks for the memories. 😜
This women just shows power and unaccountability corrupts peoples thinking. Hear she is trying to play the victim .Lewis was at the top of that police cesspool that existed back then. Lewis might have worked extremely hard but not a lot of the time to the benefit of Queensland.
She's full of shit did time in Queensland goal's Boggo Road/ Sir John Longely & Woodford which is the worst Gaol I've been in far worse than Boggo Road Gaol then transfered to NSW to Long Bay Gaol & Silver Water Gaol in all those Gaols i had no right's to any phone calls or visitors or to write a letter i worked like a slave like a trojan for my own buy up money the screws ripped me off every cent i was totally broke i had nothing & they bashed me badly every bone in my body broken couldn't walk for a couple of years using a toilet bowl wheel chair got tripped down stairs in Boggo Road Gaol & broke my right pelvis in 3& half places got stabbed in Long Bay Gaol i was in agony the screws called me a hypochondriac & gave me Panadol i survived by gambling barter & trade i never grassed or dogged anyone never & eventually the Governor of Silver Water Gaol let me go i did over 20yrs over 5yrs in Queensland & over 15yrs in NSW i was set up badly i did sweet fuck all to go to prison i smashed a rock through a shop window & took a packet of cigarettes i got a cab charge from Silver Water & arrived at my place at 4am in the morning that was the 18th of August 2009 add 15 years on top at 18th of August 2024 if i was still in Gaol would be doing over 35 yrs in Gaol & nearly did 18 yrs in Goulburn Super Max no bullshit & nearly did over 70yrs the Governor of Silver Water said if i don't let you go you will 15yrs in Melbourne Gaol then 15 yrs in Yatla in Adelaide then 20yrs up north in Stuart Creek Gaol in Townsville in Queensland no bullshit first locked up in Redcliffe police station cells before that left Marrickville going through hell there then a bus to Brisbane from Central Station to Roma Street Station then lived on the streets of Fortitude valley fighting for my life being hunted down into near extinction then ended up in Redcliffe by default
The real irony of the Fitzgerald inquiry is that the judges, magistrates and lawyers were equally corrupt but no one is allowed to look at them. The QPS were the easy fall guys.
The level of playing the victim is next level with this woman. The way she nods and addresses the audience as though they agree with her. Goes on and likens the justice system to the 3rd Reich because hubby lost his pension. Stiff shit.
This would be a last ditch effort to redefine the Seekers as a pop group. It's a very catchy song which, if I heard on the radio, would immediately love. But in a million years I would never guess it was the Seekers.
Always a shining star, look up into the heavens tonight. That first star you see is Stevie looking down upon you; his music lives on through the good, the bad and the ugly.
