I’d have thought the an F-15 vs Mig 19’s would be like bringing a gun to a knife fight. The F-15 could have stayed BVR and knocked them out with 120’s without having to BFM. I have the Mig-19 in DCS and love it but recognize its limitations.
? Bro never heard of scenario’s 😂 not to mention maybe one fighter was already in the air space of other and had to take off next to the enemy in the air. Not to mention people in games like to get into dog fights to test their skills and learn from them, so they force themselves in these scenarios. The scenario isn’t the part that needs to always be realistic in games, because there’s hundreds of different “Scenarios” aka levels. Even more freedom in an online game. could be 2 buddies just playing together having fun. The realistic part that comes from combat simulator’s is the uh… combat… crazy I know. Lighten up bud. It’s the internet, and it’s a game. Some people don’t enjoy firing rockets at people from 30 miles away and like to actually test their skills in close combat/dog fights, and learn from their mistakes. Part of the fun in Combat simulators is pushing the vehicles and guns to the absolute limit because you know, in real life you may not have access to them, and if you do, you probably don’t want to be pushing your expensive stuff to the actual limit, potentially killing yourself, other people, and wasting millions of dollars and potentially going to prison. So yeah, it’s a game bud. Relax.
and i know that from where the aircraft is coming and if i would turn off the highlights i will not able to see aircraft at all rather than a black dot.
