Thanks for the info. I have a z6200 in my office and the maintanence cartridge overflowed ink all over the inside of the printer. The printheads leaked all over is it worth cleaning and fixing?
Yep, but what happens when the cartriage door is stuck and can't close... the back edge of the lid gets stuck behind a ribbed plastic structure inside, what to do then?
In case this happens to anyone: the cartridge door on the Designjet 790 is supposed to close simply by pressing on it. If it is stuck, then the mechanism for keeping the door open is jamming. There are 2 pieces of plastic behind the door in a crevice that can slide up and down. Normally, when you press on the door to close it, they should move down. Apparenty they can get stuck though. You can push them down manually with a solid object thats thin enough to get into the crevice (e.g. a ruler). When pushed down manually, you should be able to close the door.

I went into the Services Menu and gave the option to fill tubes. and now he is asking me for a new head. Para actualizar debo tener cabezales sin error? Trato de actualizar mi t1300 y me dice error al actualizar, el archivo no es correcto o no hay espacio, limpie el hhd restaure el eerom y nada. Lo unico que tengo no hice es cambiar cabezal caducado y mi pide cambiar pero aun asi solía imprimir, cuando mando a imprimir, indica que esta procesando y se queda horas asi y nunca sale la impresión...
Hard to find wider than 36" printers WITH a scanner. I just bought one of these used and have been looking for videos on it to get an idea of what to do when I get it. Finally found some, thanks for posting, even if it IS 8 years later!
Im having problems with the job waiting to print. There are no alarms, so i can’t figure out whats wrong. Any ideas? Im printing an a1 size tif file via usb.
