"How to transform" guides, reviews and more for toys, figures and models from all over the world, brought to you by Wallas the Polish toy guy (an adult collector who speaks decent English).
I specialize in showcasing transforming toys, but my channel and collection are home to all kinds of items that catch my interest or tickle my nostalgia.
DISCLAIMER: In accordance with RU-vid instructions for applying COPPA guidelines, on 31.12.2019 all content on this channel has been marked as "made for children" or "not made for children". RTS is indeed flawed, but at least the improved color scheme of United version makes it a bit better. Still hoping for MP version or another 3rd party rendition. I really like this one, but am always open to new attempts at him.
Thanks for the review. I was on the fence about getting it, even on clearance for $19, but picked it up after seeing this. I think it scales well with the 1/100 figures. My only disappointment would have to be the bland shield, it needs paint or stickers.
Damn wish I could find deals like you do. Been looking at getting Battle Fever Robo Soul of Chogokin GX-30 (I love its look plus it'd be cool to have because of the history behind BF Robo). It starts at 150 USD minimum
Sadly finds like this are rare and few nowadays.Maybe I'm not looking enough now, or maybe people are starting to pay more attention to what they are selling ;)
I think the MRSP was around 24000 yen, but that varied depending on where you tried to pre-order it. Now you probably have to add a few thousand on the second market seeing how this did not get re-issued yet.
Thank you for your support :) Fans Hobby Gun Fighter II review is going online after the weekend, and about other Transformers...I'm always happy to receive suggestions, so let me know about any more specific TF topic that interests you :)
+Transformers And Power Rangers Toy Reviews but tricky to transform. I have not reviewed it yet because I don't transform it it too often and haven't analysed all of its features properly yet. It has several neat ideas, but the wing roots overdid it in their attempt to remove change-related gaps in fighter mode. Once you go past that part, the rest goes fairly smoothly, but the start is not very fun to me.
Wallas Toy Reviews Yeah, I know what you mean. I have one of the Renewal VF-25s, and it's a horrible pain to transform. I much prefer my Fire Valkyrie from the 1990s. Smooth as butter, and it still hits all of the right transformation notes.
+Transformers And Power Rangers Toy Reviews I'm so jelly of the Renewal VF-25, I had one pre-ordered until HLJ decided they won't be able to deliver XD I wonder if Bandai will ever try to make smaller Macross toys with transformations simplified to match modern TF Voyagers etc. Could be interesting both to collectors and more wallet-protective casual players.
JUAN CARLOS Barrero That's the price for making it anime-accurate and affordable to a bigger crowd. It would be a nightmare to make it transform at this scale from engineering point of view.
Hi, good figure but what is the difference between this VF-19 and the YF-19? look friend... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FUCf9utBGGk.html Thanks! Good video.
I had no idea Bandai didn't own the rights to the original VF-19 design. This toy didn't somehow cause any legal conflicts as well, which is surprising.
Jetpackman01 That's because they tagged this as a Macross Frontier unit instead of Plus, looks almost identical but the few differences are enough to make it lawsuit-proof. It's pretty much what Hasbro and Takara did with Car Brothers from first RID: everyone knew what cars they were based on, but there were small changes that made them similar and not identical to source, licensed vehicles :)
***** Definitely, it's my hobby store of choice for more than 4 years now. Not a single of my parcels ever went missing and they have a nice customer service. If anything, I recommend using EMS shipping when you want to preserve the box, usually SAL-delivered items arrive in great condition, but last time, my Super Robot Chogokin toy came with a nicely massacred box. Also, bear in mind that they declare the full value of the merchanidise, so with more pricey / spacious items, Customs may intercept the parcel and demand ransom for its release.
