Totally Tim is a VLOG account centered around my life and the things I love to do most. From ranching, building, wheeling and outdoors everything - this VLOG will introduce you to the real Totally Tim and those things I accomplish and/or fail at doing all the time. Join me on this journey!
I would imagine your tires suffer the same ill fate as ours' in Northern Nevada - Sun Burn! I hate having to continually change out tires. Once we have the shop up I would like to jack up everything that doesn't move and pull the tires of and put them in the shade.
Hey Tim, I am working on a 580C backhoe. Was working great forward , reverse. I pulled up to look at a spot where I would be digging the stuck it in reverse and the tractor would not move . It will drive forward . If you move it and then switch to reverse while moving it's like you slam on the breaks and still will not backup . Is the sylinoid is out will that stop it from shifting into reverse or bigger issues
Well this sorta helps explain my issue with my 480ell 4x4. Im at the point where you sped up your video its 1/4 seperated my guess its fluid suctioned to the shaft.
A buddy of mine has a JCB 210s and he's having problems problems with the transmission leaking any suggestions on what it could be and also how do these transmissions come out of the JCB any and all suggestions welcome thank you
You only missed a 100 or so steps in the tear down. I'm sure all that saw dust did wonders for the transmission as well. I loved the part where you poked around in the ball bearing with a screw driver. That won't cause any damage. I feel like this is the video of how not to do it.
I've never seen someone use small crescent wrenches and a 3/8 drive to do a job like this. Maybe a breaker bar and some decent wrenches. Then there is the vise grips. Lucky you got it apart.
I bought a 1966 ck 530 Backhoe 188 Diesel Thema that I bought the Backhoe from they had replaced every hydraulic hose and repacked every hydraulic ram on the Backhoe everything works great if I ever have to do something like you're doing I just rather call case service truck to come out on the farm to do the repairs I'm geting ready to paint the Backhoe back to the original color case yellow with case red to before winter time sets in I bought a 60x 60 tarp to cover up the Backhoe while it's being stored outside
Just going to say this. The title of this video should be rambling on about a bunch of nonsense and also dropping the transmission. So glad I kept fast forwarding and didn't sit through it all. Hopefully the next one of him tearing it apart has some strategic value
Why is God's name would you not pressure wash the dam unit and throw the front end up on blocks to get some clearance !!!?????? Can't watch FOOLS work Next video please
So I have the same backhoe, mine has lost some pulling power. It will just crawl very very slowly in reverse but will not do anything when put in the forward (drive) position. Just wondering what you think it could be. Especially before I take the transmission out.
Anybody know how to fix the problem where the forward/reverse lever slowly creeps into reverse. To stay in forward I have to hold the lever, and it will pull into reverse from neutral as well.
580e case construction King Florida Case 580 construction King the transmission has two wires that goes to a solenoid to make it shift into gear where the wires come from
I have a 580g 4x4 backhoe and the transmission normally shifts but it stopped going forward. There is strength for the back and no forward. It moves a little and slips. Is that the problem. Pozz
Nice to see you taking plenty of time to Tor Gear ground but you don't give any information of what this is about or going to do not interested in seeing you walk to the shop not interested in seeing your background this is John Deere 310d
Finally a video on a Case 580C. I've been look for this video for several months. My Case 580C has developed a shuttle shift problem. It wants to only go forward, even in neutral. I am unfamiliar with transmissions. Very helpful. Thank you.
@@eddiejimenez1234 It ended up being two things. First i had one of the transmission lines chafe a hole through and it leaked severely causing fluid to become low very quickly. Second, many of my clutch discs were worn. I dropped the trans using RU-vid vids. Bought the best rebuild kit i could off ebay. Let a shop do the rebuild ($300). Then reinstalled. Been great ever since.
I am rather impressed that you were able to get that power shuttle out of there without peeling off some cuss words. I dropped my shuttle on a 580K and put forward clutch disks in it and I cussed it enough for both us.
I could use that cab that's on the other 580 if you'd part with it. Mine had a tree fall on it. My number is 3098277663 I'm better with texting but you can call me if you want to. Thanks!
why don't build your self a work bench think find it easier on your back and clothing there also snap ring tool not that expensive make job easier put a tarp down on the floor before you moved that onto your plywood floor take it apart oil gone onto the tarp not stain and stink up the shad just throw the tap away after easier clean up just have to think and plan make task easier probably find a table from side of the road cut it in half screw it to the wall now have a bench cost nothing people all ways throw away desks or check the dump
lucky it did drop on your head might bin safer if had two logs or blocks on other side of the jack so when lowered it the logs gave it some support if it fell off the jack
Does anybody have any information on a 1980 International Harvester 280A backhoe and front end loader, more specifically the transmission valve assembly, it's driving me nuts!
Wondering if there is a conversion kit for manual shuttle shift to hydrostatic for 1988 case 580c backhoe? I'd definitely appreciate any help Thanks mike
