Ah too bad we don´t see the ending here. I was the Porsche behind you. Great defending, mate. Got a slow-down in the end and lost P4 as well. Damnit :D
@@coolsharkracing7941 I was SO close to getting on the radio saying something like i can get us away from the 2 guys behind us and pull you with me and then we can fight for P3 alone. Would you have gone for that?
@@coolsharkracing7941 Haha, ah damn. I really should have said something 😂 Interestingly enough, another stream cut out in the same minute as yours, different race etc. hmm, I wonder what happened there. I'm sure we will meet again on track 🤗 Subbed
I think if you were a bit more alongside it was a move, wasn't a lot of overlap. Also if these are rentals not sure if the acceleration is equal on both karts.
@@coolsharkracing7941 I see you didn't mention that You also got Runner Up to Driver of the Day Award from the Sponsors & only missed out by 1 & a half points ! Not bad for being a Track Day first timer. Everyone else there had plenty of experience. Great effort !
@@johnsampey344 Thank you! Gutted to miss out by that little! I do mention it in the long video I made but I didn't mention it on this one. Next time we need an extra 2 points 😂
@@OliBout321 according to stewards the car behind has to have their front wheel at least infornt of my rear wheel in order for me to have to leave space. In this case he did not and got a penalty.
If you deliberately stop on the racing surface, you had it coming. You could have parked off track or drove back to the pits, but decided not to, leaving a stranded car in a hazardous position on the track.
@@coolsharkracing7941 nope thats still stoping on a racetrack my man. Not saying anything against you btw. I mean like driving to pits or lining up on start would make a litte more sense, no? Especially because as simdrivers we like to experience realistic racing. Just immagine Toto wolf: brilliant job georgie thats p1 stop the car on whatever curb you fancy.
@@loredanatafuro7826 it's not irl mate, in acc everyone stops after finish line to rtg. Only reason we would drive back to pits in the sim is if the rules say so. Which in this league they don't.
That’s not the racing line though? You can see the rubber Ed in part of track on the left. Although he was still around a blind corner so I still feel bad for the dude that hit him
@floorless3335 you have a valid point that it's not the exact racing line. However I belive that part of the car intersects with the racing line still leaving it in the way of the racing line.
@josephromero2350 idk two dumbasses or a full stop on the track that the other driver didn't see. Either way a six month ban is harsh for something that has no real world consequences.
Looks like it was a tough one for the 2 of us, for my first year of bikc I’m very underwhelmed by it, it’s made out to be this massive indoor motorsport uk governed championship but it‘s ran so shocking and some of their rules are very stupid and as for Warrington I was very underwhelmed by that too, it’s their flagship track but in my opinion not one of the greatest I’ve raced at plus aswell those ramps are so dangerous karts should never be taking air like that
Coming from sim racing, I was expecting better management and stewarding I have to admit. I was a bit disappointed from that side, the staff were very nice etc but the stewarding side etc could of been better. There was zero consistency with the penalties. I woudl also agree it wasn't the best track for the flagship, I personally felt the Newcastle track was better minus the low grip. Warrington with out the horrible bumping through the concrete section and airborne so many times a lap has good potential, but I was surprised how different the karts were for being a month old. Doesn't matter now, full focus on next year ✌️
@@coolsharkracing7941 yea I fully agree, most of the staff on the bikc days were so nice but the actual Warrington staff were horrible, most of them anyway as all the time they’d just think they’ve got the right to speak down to you and one of them even spoke to me like I was his dog, really looking forward to next year but it’s hopefully going to be my last time as I’m hopefully moving to owners in 2025
@Lewis_McGill agreed. Imo The best Warrington staff were ones i knew from newcastle and dundee who travelled to work for the day. owners would be 100% better mate! Hope it all goes well with your owner championships, I'm looking to also get Into owners soon, but just don't have the budget yet.
I'm looking to save space and I currently have my GT omega apex in between a desk and some drawers, but I have a unit my PC sits on, is there any way I could purchase this monitor stand and maybe attach a PC shelf to it to save space? Do you think it would work if I did fit one?
Hey man, I have seen pc mounts for the back of triple monitor stands, if you can join my discord via this link discord.com/invite/CAgadabx and send me a dm I can send you some links to different products that should work for you:)
Really nice driving some great overtakes! I had the opposite problem in nationals having to get used to petrol karts again since my locals is electric.
@@rjarookie4654 it's quite challenging to keep changing karts for each round. The boost on the sodi at newcastle was good for overtaking tbh. I really struggled in nationals on the electric biz karts. Yet was really quick on the sodi electric. Quite embarrassed with my terrible performance in the nationals tbh 😂
First time ive got to see my incident. Did not play out how I thought it did. But im glad i saw it before posting about it. Congrats man hope you do well at Warrington!
@@Aceunderscorewhich kart are you? ( I don't know your username sorry). It does look like it was kart 52 that hit Douglas wide! Rather than Douglas going wide by himself. My mistake I didn't notice whilst doing the voice over!
Your pace was unreal mate honestly you deserve that spot in the nationals so much just couldn’t keep you behind at all it was always the first lap transitioning to polished concrete on cold tyres at full race speed that got me shame what happened to me in the grand final but fingers crossed I get the wild card hopefully see you at the nationals mate, if I don’t make it I’ll still be watching and rooting for u mate ur an unbelievable driver hopefully race you again at some point soon
Thanks you so much mate! Great job by you just unfortunate the grand finals didn't go your way. I hope you get the wildcard! Let me know if you do:). Hope to race you on track again soon!
Is it really possible to full throttle in the first left after the downhill without hitting the barrier? I was struggling on it and chose to short brake every time after hitting the barrier so hard 😢
Most people can’t think further than the entry of a corner. Settle down, find your rhythm and then race respectfully. You can’t win the race in corner 1, but you can definitely lose it on corner 1. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
Well said! We stayed in the race and recovered some positions, but the mind set of you can't win a race but you can loose it in t1 is definitely the mindset needed!
