@@smokymountainwheels1615 Keep it up, man! AlsoYou have to do proper SEO on your channel\ videos, and then you will get more improvement. Have a good day
Great videos! I live in the big city of Franklin. I got a 1st gen klr650 and found that I love the duel sport type of riding. I have lived in franklin all my life and you are showing me new areas to ride! I'm lovin that. Keep up the great work.
I do enjoy your videos, New subscriber, also new again to "dirt", having been on a big bikes and not on dirt since around 1980 LOL, so I learning all over again. Been on ADV bike since April and love the back roads of my area in Western NC (Rutherford County).
Love the videos brother, I have an older gs 1200, and a dr650. I plan on exploring more of that territory. I'm in Kentucky so a little bit of a distance but beautiful country all the way. Keep up the good work my friend.
Thank for the videos, being a recent transplant to the area it gives me a lot of ideas for places to go ride. Although I'm a little further East than you.
@@smokymountainwheels1615 I'm in Morganton, technically about 1/4 mile from Brown Mountain OHV. Plenty of riding around me I just haven't explored too much being on my own.
Iv been enjoying your videos, I'm thinking about getting an adventure bike late spring early summer up 20/25 I'm either going to get the BMW 1300 or the Harley-Davidson pan-america. I have a 15 Harley Road King at the moment. I like the kind of riding that you do and that's probably 90% of the riding that I would like to do. I live in Charlotte North Carolina. So keep posting those great ride videos and your channel will start growing. 😎🤟
Thanks for the encouragement, I’m glad you’re enjoying the channel. I considered the Pan America too, it was an awesome bike and ride very well. I think the low end grunt of the boxer engine was the deciding factor between the two
I have a little background on FS 711. The road was in better shape up until about ten years ago. The section of better pavement used to be called”Rossi’s Driveway”… due to the curves, another story goes that back in 72, Jimmy Carter was going to build a retreat. Another story and I think the true story is at one point the road was to continue and connect with Lake Nantahala. It was never completed and neither was Carter’s retreat up there.
I agree with that. The Dragon is way too busy and dangerous especially on the weekend. I like the peace and quiet of a gravel road back in the mountains
My goodness, who is that old lady you are riding behind? Just kidding... What doesn't show is the layer of snot covering the trail. Even with my much knobbier tread, it was still pretty squirrelly... But then again, I have nothing to prove... I ride this loop many times a year, and this day was the slickest yet. Glad we hooked up for a ride. Part two should be a good watch as well.
Howdy! I'm over in Gatlinburg and would like to find other folks for some riding in the mountains. I ride a Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro and do much of the same routes through the mountains. Looking to explore more of the area. Give me a shout if you're interested.
How smooth is that BMW 1250 been thinking about my next bike being a adventure bike but I like you I don't want to ride to technical of roads just get back on some good roads like what you are riding. Been thinking about the BMW and the Harley-Davidson Pan American
I tried out the Pan America and it was a very fine motorcycle, I just thought the BMW seemed a little more balanced, and they have been in the Adventure bike business longer than anyone. I really don’t think you could go wrong with either. It’s as smooth as you can expect from a twin cylinder
You mentioned starting in Tipton NC, but I'm having trouble finding USFS 711. Can you provide lat/long coordinates? Thanks for producing great content! I'm always looking for new FS roads
Thank you for the video. I live in Surf City NC and I'm trying to figure out a trip from my house out to the mountains for some different types of riding. On road off road. This is helpful. Very unfamiliar with this part of NC. I ride a KTM 390 Adventure.
I live in Franklin and we could ride together if your still looking for someone. I recently bought a Honda NC750X and have ridden on some of these roads.
