Welcome to FuzzyYellowBalls.com's RU-vid channel! We teach tennis on the internet using video. Our video tennis lessons are distinct because we use a greenscreen -- the thing the weatherman stands in front of. But instead of the weather we've got someone hitting a tennis ball! Also, all of our newest lessons are in high definition.
We also have an extensive stroke library -- clips of the top professionals on the tennis tour hitting forehands, backhands, serves, etc. We have two types of clips: 1) high-definition hitting videos and 2) slow-motion hitting videos. These were shot at the 2009 BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, CA (www.bnpparibasopen.org). Big thanks to them for letting us film the top tennis pros!
i think there is an error in using these stats, 30% of the time is a winner and 70% of the time is an error right, but out of those stats, if you try to pass and the opponent touches it with their racquet and makes an error, or pops it up or does anything else, then it's not included in the stats right. this video would only be correct if the stats were 30% of the time you would win the point, and 70% of the time you would lose the point. but this stat is only keeping track of passing shots with clear winners or errors, right?
Isner....You can't have good footwork without socks in your shoes and you have to always be moving forward on your volleys. Too much arm and you become vulnerable to underspin slices at the net. JM...Keep your head down longer on your backhand so you can allow your racquet to help you get more consistency in the swing. That last minute neck jerk upwards changes your racquet head pathway sabotages your stroke. It also telegraphs your backhand direction to your opponent.
Yyyeah… except after you setup the Rafa / Fed dynamic, then cut the graphic, the actual footage you cut BACK to is Djokovic. WTF? This is poor vidsmanship!
A pusher on one level is a good counterpuncher on lower level. Some pushers apply slices and even drop shots, not all of them are moonballers. On the recreative level, overheads are not well developed, so that's one advice I'd give: practice "easy" overheads. Other tips: "fast feet, slow hands"; don't feel like you have to finish the rally early but apply controlled pressure.
It's pretty wild to think how far has tennis has gone when you see that backhand winner and any of the current top 5 would have run that ball down today.
In simpler terms: if you keep hitting the ball back to your opponent in the middle of the court, you're gonna end up running a lot. Agassi could usually get away with this because he took time from his opponents by taking the ball early, and he hit with good depth. Federer was able to match him at that, and hit angles at the same time.
This is an unpublish book which has common sense ideas you have to go out a play tennis to understand what the process tennis players go through. Basketball is nothing like tennis you and Craig are missing the whole objective. If you were a tennis player, you would have a better understanding. You guys just want to sell this book to make money that's your sole purpose.
If John Madden did commentary for tennis. “See, when the forehand goes over the net, lands in the court & the other guy can’t return it before it bounces twice…that’s a touchdown!”
Gasquet wanted to hit that shot cross court, but by ripping that powerful forehand to his backhand forced a weak return that Rafa could attack. That's really what happened.
@@DungxxHenhave seen this guy's comments before. He had to resort to meaningless stats like PD (Point Dominance) to lie to himself that Federer is somehow better. Even then his idol is only 0.1% better (if I remembered correctly and his stats are correct). Even more pathetic than Nadal' fans clinging on to the gold medal and crying why there's only 1 clay slam (and many excuses).
All good! Novak's favourite play will always be 15-40 on match points in the semi-finals and finals of grand slams! Happened three times, three freaking times! Muhahahah you can't make this shit up even if you tried...
@@JH-bb8in Ah yes, favourite old tune from Fedaltards! Lol Medical timeouts...it's up there with abusing ball kids and screaming at his player's box...lmao You people are too predictable it's not even fun any more...haha
@@JH-bb8in And wtf is wrong with using medical timeouts when you are losing?! Lol isn't that why they exist to begin with?! Wouldn't it be weird if you actually use them if everything is okay and you are winning?! Like you people make no freaking sense any more with your nonsense...lol
Its not that its gasquet weakness Nadals physical, movement on clay along with his heavy top spin simply makes him able to outlast anyone on clay. Even on a good day a great tennis tennis player would still lose to Rafa
It all started with weak slice in the middle of the court. One two three bs... Show me one player above 3.5 who wouldnt hit a forehand of of that backhand slice.
