Such an excellent cover of one of my favourite songs and artist. She is not easy to sing but you totally made it your own. Excellent. You're so talented, keep singing. x
Every time I hear this song I think of how manipulative this man was. I am sure everyone knows who it is. She isn't a lot of mentors that she had when she was underage and performing. That acted as a teacher all while having a relationship with an underage girl.

@@gabbyggmusic What kind of advice is that? I was speaking about a past experience. I cant go back and unlisten to it. Most artists either would just comment on what they thought about the actual criticism not get childishly defensive. Maybe you think it sounds better the way you sing it. Maybe you agree and will pronounce it properly in future. Guess Ill never know. Nice attitude.

@@gabbyggmusic Its not your accent. Look at the word Paparazzi it doesnt have two p's in the middle as in "Papparazzi". Double consonants mean the preceding vowel is a long vowel not a short a vowel. Sure you are free to change it as you like but its isnt an accent thing. I find it interesting not pointless, and even reading my comment back I cant see how it could be taken as rude. I even say its a fine cover.
The song is fine, I cant see any reason for people to dislike it but the video doesn't help it at all sadly. Bad acting and just ugly tone to the video that contaminates the song, which on its own sounds decent enough.
People dislike women when they point out sexism. That is what the song is about and what the video is about. These are my experiences. If some people didn't dislike it. Then they didn't get the message.

I really like how you capture the emotions of this song. Not just the pain of the few years later and the reflective sadness of "what part of our history..." but also the touch of scorn when quoting the abuser. Thank you.
