@@grant666uk That depends on whether you want to jump into the fire and have a nice relaxing build at the end, or start off easy and progress to hardcore. Shockwave is, by far, the easiest of those three to build. Starscream is the medium difficulty but has a lot of magnets and accessories. Optimus is, I believe, one of their first foray's into the space and the engineering is tricky. The vents on the legs and the mid forearm sections are the worst if I remember correctly.

I'm about to finish this one, only a few steps left. I fully agree with your opinions on the model, it has some annoying flaws, yet I still liked it quite bit much. For the size it has a lot of details. I've built more than 50 models mostly aliexpress knock offs and some good piececool ones. This model is for people who are looking for a good challenge. Definitely not for the beginners. The gold accents on black look gorgeous. The shape, design choices and fit and finish is okayish. This is normal as it's an older piececool kit. The newer models have much better details and fit. This goes on sale down to 15 dollars sometimes, I think it is worth it. 1-2 weeks of fun build for 15 dollars is not bad. But if you are looking for a calm build better to start with simpler uncolored ones as they are much easier to build. Then you can go tru the battleship models which are gorgeous. For those I would suggest uss missiouri as its quite easy to build. For more detailed and harder ones go with the Kongou or Fuso. Then you can proceed to these larger sailships, I would go in the progression of black pearl, queen anne's revenge and finally the flying dutchman. There is the new hms victory model but it is not as detailed or beauitful as these ones imo. Then there is the gorgeous Wind Breaker which I will buy for sure.

Haven't watched any of your other videos to see if you discovered it already, but the metal pencil looking tab twister tool piececool sells makes reaching in to tabs really easy. Their needlenose pliers are also far easier to use than tweezers - I'd compare the tweezers respectfully asking the metal to bend to the pliers telling the metal it WILL bend. Also, piececool put all their instructions online, and in hi res, so you can zoom in easy.

I also clip all my pieces off at once and then put each piece in a little slot inside of a huge plastic slotted tackle box case sometimes it takes three cases to hold all pieces on thier own then i lable every piece with a marker on the lids of the cases and put them all in order that way when i start buolding i dont gotta stop to cut every piece off one by one and take all thst time looking for the piece then cur it file the bit of sprue ledt then fit it. And also i bend and shape all the pieces that o can ahead of time as well. Biggest one i have done using this method was the game of theones red castle one and it went so smoothly when i started the build it took me 6 hours to build it after cutting and bendinf every part ahead of time
